Two days running.....I guess it's time to enlighten the world.............heavens above, it's my folk duty. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ And what is Dave whispering at the end? > and someone answer Norman's question...what _is_ Dave whispering at the end? I'm dying to know!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ During a an interview earlier this year, I asked Dave about the closing words : His reply.... "I'll just tell you what that is. Those are two quotes from Jimi Hendrix. One is "six turned out to be nine. I don't mind. I don't mind." And the other one is, "Who in your measly little world are you trying to prove that you're made out of gold and it just can't be so."" Guess you're all relieved now. Hope no one really died having read the revelation [aka tongue in cheek humour]. And now for the merciless commercial. The full text of the interview appeared in the latest issue of Kerrville Kronikle....literally a 32 page Dave 'n' Tracy only, issue featuring separate interviews. The magazine [with Dave's permission] also features the Tracy's counterpoint lyric from the same song. Seems that there wasn't enough room in the liner to include this verse. Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the said KK please contact me privately. Arthur Wood.
