I'm on Lucy-List, Dar-list and Nields-Nook, and I finally decided it was time to jump aboard the Shindell wagon! When I first saw Richard, in 1997(?), I sort of dug his stuff, but it took a while for me to grow into his music. Now I'm an avid fan, have his first three CDs and was glued to his playing and singing at Falcon Ridge last weekend. I can't wait to see him do a full set in NYC! (I think he said he was playing the Bottom Line in September...?) I haven't had the cash and opportunity at the same time, to get SNP yet, but I will as soon as possible. I prefer to buy CDs at shows, because then you can get them signed and also know the money's going right to the artist. That's about it for now, looking forward to being a part of this list... Unfortunately, it's not webcast, and all I know in terms of a timeframe is that they'll be on Vin Scelsa's show, which goes from 8pm to 2 in the morning. However, after the segment is aired live, it will be available at http://wnew.com/audio/scelsa for a couple weeks. Hope that helps somebody! :-) Peace, Love, and Mischief, Vanessa - -- "Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, and hope that the people you love will catch up with you." --Mary Gauthier, "Drag Queens in Limousines" ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V2 #185 ***********************************
