I'm idly watching trashy music television yesterday in my hazy, half jet-lagged, half sleep-deprived post-Falcon Ridge exhaustion when Britney Spears pops up with Baby One More Time or whatever the heck it's called. And I'm watching it. And I'm thinking to myself, after the Sunday workshop with Lucy et al, that she's doing counter point harmony with herself! :-) Good grief! Dave. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Jul 2000 20:39:21 -0400 From: Elwestrand Subject: [RS] Rapture I think that the motorists plunge to their deaths like "lemmings to the slaughter." Which is probably a commentary on the angry, conformist, capitalists in their expensive vehicles and what they value, which is contrasted with, of course, the convicts. Interestingly, the convicts are the ones who are forgiven. What is our friend Richard implying there????? Perhaps it is that the convicts are possibly seeking God, as choir members, while the motorists are just "hell-bent on Saturday." ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number - Free Free voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V2 #181 ***********************************
