I just recently got into Warren Zevon, when I got his latest CD after hearing a couple of cuts on WXRT. I really like it. I'm especially impressed with how literate he is. Really sophisticated lyrics. I also kind of see his music as "folk" - as hard as that can be to define. Edgier than a lot of folk music singer-songwriters but folk nonetheless. Saw Richard for the first time Sunday = night. =20 Terrific show--as good as a show as I've ever seen by anybody.  = Over two=20 hours on-stage.  Great mix of songs, old and new, solo and Cry Cry=20 Cry.  Also, a lot of funny stories.
 
Looking forward to seeing more RS=20 shows.
