If you post a topic and it takes you longer than about 30 seconds to type your message in and hit "post" - it won't go. That happens on reply or when you start a new thread. My advice is to either type fast, or post an incomplete message and go back and edit it and add more. You can also copy your long message and repost it if you have problems. It is frustrating - I've posted how to "beat the forum" almost 20 times! I've talked to Interscope and Fullerene about this several times and it's been a problem they've had great difficulty fixing. It's an error that doesn't show in the code.
