I was in section 100 Row N seat 14. The seats were good. Not too much to complain about, other than the fact everyone was hot, sweaty, and most people were drunk. I loved the show. I stood (yes that was me) for her whole show (how could you NOT!).... and could have not asked for a better evening. My favorite song she sang was Strong Enough ... to just see the light on only her, while hearing her voice amplified with her acoustic guitar. I was moved to tears. My second favorite of the evening was Safe and Sound. I could never get sick of hearing her sing with just a piano. It makes her songs somehow new again, and even better (to me). It was fabulous. Although everything was a million dollars, and the temperature was in the high 90's it was very much worth it to me. I'm seriously thinking of going to the show in Holmdel NJ at the PNC Arts Bank Center of the GS Pkwy, on September 6th. I'm thinking the crowd might be different? ... and parking is free. It's worth the distance to hopefully see her sing Home :) Anyone else going... or thinking about it? See her while you have the chance everyone. Waking up the next day and having people as you how the concert was. hah but that actually sucks to be in front of her w/o warning as well. That had to put a damper on things for the moment. I hope you came away nice and clean though. hope the weekends been lovely!!! rachelle ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Aug 2002 23:11:09 -0400 From: "Brooke J." Subject: [sheryl-crew] Re:Camden show This past Friday night's show ROCKED!!!!! I for one, enjoyed myself very much. I had lawn seats...not that great...but I had a pretty clear view at least of the stage. Not CLOSE, but CLEAR...lol The set list was pretty much the same as most of the other shows. Highlights for me (I'll abbreviate...) included, "Original", "Whether Channel", "lucky kid", always a hightlight ----> "Neighborhood" and ESPECIALLY "Safe" and "Rock n' Roll." That piano dance is some mutha-f@#kin' KICK ASSSSSS sh&t!!!! =0) I was just blown away as always. LOVED IT!!! The sound however, wasn't that great. All the other bands sounded just fine, but for some reason Sheryl's sound was really trebley and sharp. Or at least that's what I thought. Saw a few forum members...didn't say "hi" to them though....ahhh!!!...I know, I know! ;0( Great show! Can't wait to see the show up at my school in Penn State on Sept. 2nd!!!! Anybody else like to share!?!?!! Brooke "Need is love, and love is need..." ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! So . . . 1. Sheryl tapes her appearance on Tuesday for an edited version to be shown on national TV the following night. 2. It's free 3. It's live 4. It's Sheryl I *assume* that what you're going to be able to see on Tuesday is a complete, unedited view of Sheryl's performance (3 songs) and interaction with the house guests. ***Disclaimer: Do this at your own risk. I'm just the messenger :) Also, I have no idea what time Sheryl will be performing. Chris ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V5 #172 *********************************
