I must say that i was curious as to what the "piano dance" was, but now i know and it was so incredibly amazing that I'm kinda glad I didn't really see it coming. Safe and Sound and the piano dance cover were two of the most amazing performances I have seen of sheryl. This was great because I was a bit bummed to be in a mass of drunken radio sheep, and bummed that people hafta play at venues where the $.03 hotdogs cost $4 (not that i eat meat, but just an observasion) but i couldn't buy a single item of merchandise either (well i guess i could have). I was upset that the terrorists made things so out of hand that i couldn't even bring my bag into the show. Needless to say I was a bit dissappointed, but knew sheryl would make everything all better. People were horrible around me and that brought me down too, but wowsahs! those last two songs left me speachless. one for her powerful pipes and the awesome imagery, the other cuz it was so freakin' rock n roll! i just wish i could have been closer :-( I must also give props to the background scenes. some of them were worth paying money for alone! I'd like to hear how others who were at the philly (camden) show enjoyed their evenings! have a good weekend all! rachelle lee ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Aug 2002 15:24:07 EDT From: XMystery79@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Re: sheryl-crew-digest V5 #170 In a message dated 8/17/2002 10:51:09 AM Eastern Daylight Time, KAMALA27@aol.com writes: > observasion) but i couldn't buy a single item of > merchandise either (well i guess i could have). Sorry that the crowd was being like that. I had a pretty good experience last week in Pittsburgh...except for the drunk girl passing out and puking behind me (how rude of her and her friends not to even warn people, but whatever) the crowd was having a good time and people were pretty much dancing & leaving others alone. Lots of people on the forum were bitching about the merchandise. I didn't see much that I was like "oh I have to have that"...I liked the hat but I felt $30 was too much for it. So I didn't get that...concerts and special events are occasions where you will always be gouged, either for food or merchandise. ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V5 #171 *********************************
