If you get there around 5 or 6, you can check out the waterskiing, rock climbing, bike show...check out the booths. At Pittsburgh Remy Shand went on around 6 ish...he wasn't that great...OAR around 7:15....they were actually pretty good. Train maybe 8:15 and Sheryl around 9:30. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 14 Aug 2002 10:12:02 -0700 From: Chris Ketchum Subject: [sheryl-crew] L.A. PRE-SALE TIX NOW! According to the Boston Herald: Concerts to honor White coming together Entertainment briefs Wednesday, August 14, 2002 Plans for a pair of benefit concerts to honor late Billboard editor and Boston resident Timothy White appear to be taking shape. The passionate music journalist and fan passed away in June of a heart attack. In an interview with the Herald, Sheryl Crow confirmed that she will take part in two shows, Oct. 7 in Boston and Oct. 9 in New York, and that fellow rockers Don Henley, John Mellencamp, James Taylor and Brian Wilson also have signed on. Other names being bandied about by insiders include Sting and Billy Joel. No venue or ticket information has been released but all signs point to the FleetCenter for such a mammoth lineup. FleetCenter spokesman Jim Delaney would only say that the venue would love to have the show. Stay tuned. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 14 Aug 2002 15:45:13 -0700 From: Chris Ketchum Subject: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl on BB3! As Sheryl Crow might sing to the Big Brother housemates, change will do them good. In fact, Crow can tell them in person when she appears for a surprise concert Aug. 21 in the ''BB3'' backyard. The eight remaining contestants -- confined since July 6 in a house with no music or TV -- will be treated to two songs from Crow's current ''C'mon, C'mon'' as well as ''All I Wanna Do.'' ''Last year, we had the Survivors come in [to 'BB2'] so we certainly wanted to have another special event,'' says exec producer Allison Grodner. ''It's going to be a complete surprise for them.'' Not nearly as surprising as CBS' coup in persuading Crow to soak up the ''BB3'' sun. ''She's a fan of the show,'' says Interscope spokesman Dave Tomberlin of the unusual gig. ''And when was the last time she got to play for eight people in a backyard setting?'' ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 14 Aug 2002 19:02:29 EDT From: Diannesty@aol.com Subject: Fwd: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl on BB3!
