I have heard today on Radio21 (belgian radio) a duet called 'time has come today' performed by Steve Earle and Sheryl Crow. It's released on the new album of steve earle 'sidetracks'. I didn't remember if we already talked about it... By the way, I've enjoyed that song... The pictures in the cd booklet and magazines do look too perfect, but that's just because the photos have been retouched. Seriously retouched! No one looks as perfect as these perfectly posed, carefully lit, digitally enhanced pix. Last year, Us magazine printed a bunch of pix taken when Sheryl, Gwyneth and Kid Rock performed at a club in NYC. They were casual photos, and... how can I put this gently? :-) Sheryl and Gwyn looked good, but not as perfect as usual. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: Click Here ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Apr 2002 14:48:31 EDT From: XMystery79@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Steve Earle and Sheryl In a message dated 4/25/2002 5:53:49 AM Eastern Daylight Time, renaut@crpgl.lu writes: > Hello, crew, > > Long time I haven't send news... I'm trying to remember if it was last summer of the summer of 2000, SC and Steve Earle were on Leno & Letterman performing the track to plug the "Steal this Movie" soundtrack. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Apr 2002 15:52:59 -0400 From: "Mike Sarzo" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Steve Earle and Sheryl The original band's name was the Chambers Brothers. I have their original, 11 minute epic version of the song plus an outtake that was recorded a year earlier. I even remember Letterman's intro for Sheryl. "... Steve Earle, along with one of our all time favorites, Sheryl Crow!" I wish I had the video for the Letterman performance...
