Btw.. On all my A&M cd's it's says: Distributed by Polydor Ltd. (UK), a Universal Music Company for the world excluding North America, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Norway & Sweden. Maybe that's the answer? Most of my cd's say: Printed in Germany also. Apparently they have a big factory there. Just kidding. > > > Weird, very weird. > It's not that weird, it happened with The Globe Sessions. The Japanese got TGS on the 18th, and the Europeans got it on the 21st, while the Americans had to wait until the 29th. I know in Japan it is because the US import version will be cheaper in Japanese shops, hence they put it out first in Japan, and it will probably have a bonus track or two, to tempt Japanese consumers into buying the more expensive domestic release over the cheaper import, especially in the couple of weeks when the domestic one is the only one on the shelves. That's also why the last two studio LPs have had *much* more interesting and eye catching covers in Japan than in the USA. I know, the idea of a cheaper import is a bit strange, but that's the way CDs in Japan work. I couldn't tell you why the Europeans are getting lucky again. And I ordered mine from Japan with expedited shipping, so I'll hear it before you Europeans, even! (just teasing!) :) Jason ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 09 Mar 2002 22:47:44 -0500 From: "Mike Sarzo" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] New single details... >From: "Frank Jason Rhoden" >To: >Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] New single details... >Date: Fri, 8 Mar 2002 23:38:19 -0500 > >According to amazon.com, it isn't. I think you're thinking "You're An >Original". If I remember correctly, the initial track listing had both "You're An Original" and "You're Not The One" on it. Having said that, I STILL can't understand "It's Only Love" being on C'mon C'mon since it was ALREADY recorded on Trouble in Shangri-la. Frankly, it bothers me that Sheryl's done that. Hahahaha, that is funny that he said that! It's very common for burns to be sent of a track (when it leaks to radio and the actual single isn't ready to be shipped)....and Sheryl's single was leaked a week early which almost ALWAYS happens with a first single from a new album by a big artist....so out go the burns..as attractive as they are....and as fun a job it is......let me tell you.....I've had to deal with that hell much too often....
