According to the liner notes, it was recorded at Ground Studios and The Shine Studios in New York. Mixed at Royalty Studios, NY. All 12 tracks were recorded by Johnna Janelle & The Winding Roads. Whoever that is :) No other names of any of the performers are given. The back cover simply says "Top musicians across the globe who now pay tribute to the music of Sheryl Crow". There is also a special thanks to "The talented Sheryl Crow for continued inspiration". The musicians stay true to the original versions, playing everything pretty much note for note. Nothing really new or different to report in that regard. The singer (Johnna?) has a good voice, but she's no Sheryl ;) She does do a right on the money version of TGTN though. Overall, it's pretty good. I'll listen to it again and play it for friends. If you're a serious SC collector like me, you'll probably want to have it. If not, you always have the real thing to fall back on :) Chris A Tribute to Sheryl Crow Release date: 02/26/2002 Label: Big Eye Music Catalog#: 4238 Track Listing: Everyday Is A Winding Road If It Makes You Happy Hard To Make A Stand Strong Enough Change Would Do You Good Home Can't Cry Anymore All I Wanna Do Tomorrow Never Dies Run Baby Run My Favorite Mistake There Goes The Neighborhood ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V5 #47 ********************************
