When Sheryl and someone else presented an award to (I think it was) N'SYNC, Sheryl looked like she did NOT want to be on stage at that moment. I thought it was so funny that Sheryl acted clueless about the "Backstreet Boys or N'SYNC" question Jay Leno asked on the Tonight Show... almost as funny as Stevie actually having an answer besides "Neither." Mike <--- who got a mention on the Stevie newsgroup when someone asked the Backstreet Boys or N'SYNC question and included a "No you can't answer neither" part to it. "And no, you can't answer neither, not even YOU Mike Sarzo!" _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Jan 2002 19:58:06 +0000 From: "Heather H" Subject: [sheryl-crew] Fwd: Sheryl Crow news Hi, Crew! For gal pals Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, Stella McCartney and Sheryl Crow, January is the perfect time for "just a girls' weekend in Paris," as Gwynnie said. For these famous fashionistas, however, that means hopping from show to show and party to party as the haute couture season starts. No boyfriends, no husbands - just lots of air kisses and, in Gwynnie's case, the phone number of a dashing aristocratic-looking Frenchman jotted by the actress with eager hands. Saturday night the girls, sans Stella, chatted away front-row at Versace. Only Chelsea Clinton - not an official member of the clique - broke ranks, bringing a curly haired boyfriend over from Oxford for the weekend. Post-Versace, Madonna, Gwyneth and Sheryl headed off to meet Stella at her charity auction in the Marais. Stella and painter Gary Hume designed and signed T-shirts to benefit women's rights organization Femaid, which has a special focus on Afghanistan. Not only was the event in keeping with the girl-power theme of the weekend, but the T-shirts, in Gwyneth's opinion, are also "so cute!" While most of the guests partied on the lower level of the gallery, the girls convened in a private area up above to plan out the rest of their night. When asked what Stella would like to do, the designer exclaimed, "Have a massive slumber party!" The Material Girl and the Oscar Winner didn't make it to Versace's party at Canteen until after midnight, causing a certain amount of hand wringing in Donatella's staff. But then the awesome blondes met the blondest designer of all, and all ended well. On Sunday, Gwyneth, Madonna and Sheryl attended Jean-Paul Gaultier's show, scrambling backstage through a hoard of paparazzi to congratulate the couturier. Later, Gwyneth showed up at Givenchy and Valentino. Monday at Christian Dior Gwyneth sat next to Bernard Arnault's heir Antoine, while the handsome luxury czar proudly looked on. The girls may have left their beaux at home, but it sure looks like they have all the men they can handle in the City of Light. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gwyneth Paltrow (C) Madonna (R) and Chelsea Clinton (L) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection-Pic of the day Gwyneth Paltrow (C) Madonna (R) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection-Pic of the day - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gwyneth Paltrow in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Madonna (R) with Gwyneth Paltrow (Center Right) Ian Klaus (L) and Chelsea Clinton (Center Left) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gwyneth Paltrow (L) and Madonna (R) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Madonna (R) Gwyneth Paltrow (C) and Chelsea Clinton (L) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gwyneth Paltrow (C) Sheryl Crow (R) and Chelsea Clinton (L) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chelsea Clinton (L) Gwyneth Paltrow (C) and Madonna (R) in the front row at the Versace Spring 2002 Couture collection - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] [TABLE NOT SHOWN] - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail.
