I've been waiting to here Sheryl, not them. I'm trying to decide whether to go see K-pax to hear "Safe and Sound" or to wait. Have you seen the movie? I really love the live version, and so I'm curious to see how it differs from the studio one. So, is it worth my eight bucks? I wouldn't see a movie just for a song, but if you think it looks interesting, why not see it at a matinee or something? The song is going to be on the soundtrack to the movie, I'm not sure when that comes out, but I'm sure it'll be available to download some where in the near future. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 19:14:38 +0000 From: "Esther Beke" Subject: [sheryl-crew] New Vanity Fair Issue The new Vanity Fair issue is dedicated to music. And guess who appears in a picture, yes, Sheryl Crow, and it is in fact a very cool picture. Its part of an article that talks about the VH1 save the music program. Besides that, there are tons of other artists, Bowie, and Beck, Gwen Stephani, Maxwell,... I would really recommend you to check it out, plus, there is an issue dedicated to New York City and the whole tragedy. That is it, Esther _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 12:32:23 -0800 (PST) From: Chelsea Kawakami Vlasak Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl on Kid Rock's new album I went to see the movie yesterday, but I was interested in the movie, too. The song is not played until closing credits. Throughout the movie, there are a few notes of the song, but only the notes, no Sheryl. The song is great - and the movie is pretty good, I spent my $8 and was glad. Sheryl sounds really great. The song is Lynyrd Skynyrd-ish......or maybe some Doby Gray....it's soft. People in the office were a bit weird about it because it doesn't really fit Kid Rock's style. But the song is great!
