I doubt that Kid Rock will be on the CD, because Sheryl said it was more piano based, and that doesn't really fit him. This cd comes out on my birthday and it actually looks good compared to some of the other crap I've seen being released (Britney Spears). ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 01:11:14 EST From: XMystery79@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl on Kid Rock's new album In a message dated Sat, 27 Oct 2001 6:46:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time, "Sarah Sherman" writes: > I've heard that too, but not for a while. I'd like to offer a friendly welcome, I'm the moderator and if you have any questions feel free to email me personally. As for Sheryl's next cd, details are pretty limited, all we know is March and I'm pretty sure I read Safe & Sound is going to appear on that, and that according to Sheryl, some of the songs are more piano based. I would think that the Gwenyth & Kid Rock stuff was possibly just being thought about and not set in stone, and the tracks they recorded could be not included on the album, you never know. But the feeling I get is that this is not going to be a Sheryl Crow and Friends part 2 cd like I was originally thinking when I heard Kid Rock and Gwenyth Paltrow, neither of whom I particularly like. I do wonder what Sheryl & Kid Rock sound like together, I heard his new single and I think it's awful, I hope the one he did with her is better. ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V4 #271 *********************************
