Hello girls and boys, What I don't understand is that nobody is actually recording one of these "Stevie Nicks featuring Sheryl Crow" concerts for future release on DVD or video.......Or have I missed something? I mean, both these amazing woman on the same stage....it's sort of historic I think. And will there ever be a release in the European format on either DVD or video of "The Central Park" concert"? Have a good weekend guys! Gaston ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 28 Jul 2001 08:07:28 -0700 (PDT) From: Easter Subject: [sheryl-crew] Survey anyone? Sorry folks, I'm bored and thought of spicing up the list a little bit with a survey I created a while ago. Instead of putting in the usual answers to the questions, this survey may require more brain power. In this survey, you have to put in songs that most relates to the question. Have fun! :) 1. The song that must have been playing when you were born: "Just Like Starting Over" - John Lennon (not really, but it's around the same time period.) 2. Best captures your childhood: "Electric Youth" - Debbie Gibson *gulp* 3. Best captures your teenage years: "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Nirvana 4. Captures the feelings of your first crush: "Flower" - -Liz Phair 5. Song to play getting over your crush or ex (considering it was a nasty breakup): probably Stone Temple Pilots' "Sex & Violence" 6. Which song would you want to be playing when you lost/loose your virginty: Lennon's "Oh My Love" 7. The song you'd sing for the President of the United States (indicate which president if possible) or the leader of your country: I dunno, but I'm always hearing Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" 8. The song you'd dance naked to: "Ordinary Morning" - Sheryl Crow 9. What song would you have played at your funeral and why (do not have to answer if you don't want to): "Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Simon & Garfunkel 10. The song you'd name for a child: "Winter" - Tori Amos 11. The song that captures your best moments in life: the chorus of "Alive" - Pearl Jam 12. The tv/movie theme you'd chose as your own personal theme: The X-Files and Gilmore Girls 13. The song you'd play to scare away kids on Halloween night: anything from the Two Virgins album by Lennon & Ono 14. What song that will mostly likely be heard at your wedding: "I Will" - The Beatles & "Maybe I'm Amazed" - Paul McCartney 15. The song most people will hear you singing: "Your Mother Should Know" - The Beatles (it's really annoying when I sing it. mauhaha) 16. The song you'd teach to an English language class in a foreign country: either Lennon's "Imagine" or "Let It Be" - The Beatles 17. The song you'd program your cell phone to ring to: N/A 18. You're an Olympic gymnast - which song would you use for your floor routine? "Body Rock" - Moby 19. The song you'd use for a pep rally (Queen songs are not permissible): "Are You Ready" - Creed 20. The song you'd use for your political campaign: Lennon's "Gimme Some Truth" (?) FYI, the new album is supposed to be released in Japan on Sept. 27 and the catalogue number is already available, according to hmv.co.jp: http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail.asp?sku=837835 (Be warned it's in Japanese but you'll be able to recognize the information) You can already preorder the album now. So I think we can really look forward to the album release around this time. I'm looking forward to hearing some of the new tracks at Sheryl's solo concert I'll attend in August. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Takuji Shimoda E-mail: soullove@ca2.so-net.ne.jp http://www01.u-page.so-net.ne.jp/ca2/soullove/sheryl/sheryl_home.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 28 Jul 2001 12:16:31 -0400 From: "Mike Sarzo" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Survey anyone? Detroit she was sportin a sparkel mini dress and some of the others she was wearin a "chick singer night" t-shirt & black leather pants.. and that is my Sheryl fashion post ;) Sheryl was having a grand old time playing w/ waddy... she said several times that Stevie Nicks had a naughty nasty band and she wouldn't stay in the same hotel w/ them..lol.. i think she was just giving them a hard time.. meows~ kitten http://www.purplemoon.com ********************* "It is green... it is aquamarine... it is colors i have never seen.. it is blue... is is all true.. you know who i am.."
