["Mike Sarzo" Subject: [sheryl-crew] Totally OT: New poem I wrote... Don't Ask Me (c-2001, Mike Sarzo) I lie in bed, awake one night As it still rings in my ears Well my mind goes back and forth And your words become my tears A fight just took the life from us It was replaced by a fury Well don't you ask me where it all went wrong Because I think you know the answer Don't pretend to me that you care 'Cause I can see right through you It may not be the answer you want But it's what you need to hear Don't ask me what's wrong Don't ask me So I hear you have your problems now But I put my wall around you I've lived your pain enough to see The abuse that you have rained on me Inspired by your love, tainted by your lines I make my search for solitude Another lost shot just to get away Well don't you ask me where it all went wrong Because I think you know the answer Don't pretend to me that you care 'Cause I can see right through you It may not be the answer you want But it's what you need to hear Don't ask me what's wrong Don't ask me Then I came to see you last night You were tired out, rejected, and done That fire once engulfed you But then the fire dies. A spirit lost in your wake As the pain weaves in and out your door Maybe I lost touch with you Perhaps I'm wrong to feel as I do But life never promised us anything We could hold or love for a while Dreams do fade, then they drift away Don't ask me why they do Don't ask me what went wrong that night Don't ask me. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 May 2001 18:34:36 +0200 (CEST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?laurence?= Subject: [sheryl-crew] Another concert at the Shine Club in NYC? Crew, Ok this is something I just read on Pollstar. You know they made a mistake as for the concert in Muskegon, MI, so I won't consider this as "official" BUT since Sheryl's already made a concert at the Shine Club earlier this month and since I read on the Fan Forum that she might do another impromptu concert sometime soon, this might be true... www.pollstar.com/tour/searchall.pl?By=Artist&Content=SHECRO&AN=Y Date: 05/14/01 City: NYC Venue: Shine Don't know how to get tickets and the official site does not seem to work now... Good luck for those who might be able to go to this one... Laurence ===== "Anybody here ever had a broken heart? I just checked at Ticketmaster, and tickets for the show Monday are already sold out, so if you've got 'em - Enjoy. If not, I guess you can wait outside and hope someone takes pity on you. And, Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow will appear on Tony Bennett's new CD, Bennett Sings the Blues." Sounds good to me :) Another album :) Laurence ===== "Anybody here ever had a broken heart?
