By JAM! Music Sheryl Crow has an unlikely new beau: white-trash rocker Kid Rock. New York's Daily News reports the couple has been "practically inseparable" in recent weeks, and were spotted at New York's eatery The Old Homestead on Sunday night, where they dined and were joined by Rock's "Joe Dirt" co-star, David Spade. (The pair had made a guest turn on "Saturday Night Live' the night before). Although their dinner party ballooned to eight, The Daily News says it was obvious Crow and Rock are a couple, and he remained at her side throughout the night, sneaking away periodically to smoke a cigarette. I just wanted to tell everyone about my experience with John Lynch(the bartender from Minus Man). I'm down here in L.A. now, and my boss is the Executive Producer for his company, and he decided to shoot this film in our house. Anyway, John Lynch is the father, Kathleen Wilhoite is the mother, and then Nikolai Kinski(nathasha kinski's brother) was the son. Anyway, I worked on the film, and I had the chance to talk to John alot. I had to ask him about working with Sheryl. Anyway, he told me that she is such a great lady, and that she has an awesome house. He would meet with Sheryl at her house to rehearse, and he also said he thought she did a great job acting. I told him I was one of her biggest fans, and that she's just inspired me to do this whole move, and to really work on my music, and he just thought that was pretty cool. He told me not to worry, that I would definitely meet her because it's so small down here, and the industry is so small once you're in there. So, I just loved talking to him. He's the coolest, nicest guy. Also, Kathleen Wilhoite, if you haven't heard of her you have to look for her CD somewhere. She's amazing. She gave me her latest one, and I went and listened to it right away. She's totally like Sheryl, she also sounds a bit like Melissa Etheridge/Bonnie Raitt and in some songs like Ricki Lee Jones. She writes all of her music, she plays guitar and piano. She was so great, and it's definitely worth buying her stuff. Anyway, I just wanted to fill you all in. I definitely had a great week and a half with these people. About Sheryl and Kid Rock....uhhh, I don't even know. I don't really wanna think about it. I also saw All Access the day it opened, and it was awesome. Oh my gosh, I had chills when Sting was doing his song, and then I was getting all pissed, just thinking they weren't gonna show Sheryl playing, but then they did, and it was really great. I just wish she would've worked that song a little more. She can just kick butt on it, so that's what I was hoping for. Although that camera man was practically sitting on her lap. That would've been irritating. Well, that's all I have to say for now. I hope we can all get passed this whole Kid Rock thing, let's just forget about it, and maybe it'll go away. Christina, I heard the same thing bout Kid and Pam. Local radio station said that the two of them couldn't keep their hands off each other after the Diva concert. Anyhow, if Sheryl is dating Kid, it's a great career move cuz he's supposedly good friends w/ Carson Daly and we all know what Carson and TRL can do for artists and their new releases...
