Down in south france? I've been there and I've seen that arena too. That must be so cool to go to a concert there. But you better hold your heart... U2 is coming to Europe this summer too!!! I already know where they will be playing here, (my collegecity!) just don't have any dates yet. I wanted to go to Mark Knopfler too but the tickets were to expensive. Buuut, I'm going to see Eric Clapton in a couple of weeks and also Anouk (dutch artist) that is really cool too and then maybe U2 in the summer... awesome! I know it's weird, but I think I'd like to hear them both do "Baby Don't you break my heart slow" by Vonda Shepard. Vonda and I think Emily from the Indigo Girls did it, and I love it, so I think they would do a great job. Laurence you're lucky I hope that the weather will be with you. ;-) I'm going to see Knopfler too, in Lyon on the 27th of June. ( I don't know him a lot but some of my friends are big fans so.... ) It's one of my dream to see a concert of Sheryl in one of our antique places in France ( Theaters of Lyon, Vienne, Orange, or Nimes, Arles arenas ) it's such a different atmosphere than "usual" concert places. Sheryl we're waiting for you !!! Dear Edwina & everyone else, Whoever doesn't have Rockin' The Globe must get it. I bought it the day it came out (1/4/00). However, I had a hard time finding it. Sheryl and the guys kicked butt at that show. The show was filmed at Detroit's Palace (where the NBA's Pistons play). I wish I was that show - it was on a Saturday night. Well, gotta go. yoffe3@aol.com (M Yoffe) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2001 17:33:13 EST From: XMystery79@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] news not much but some In a message dated 3/4/01 11:47:04 AM Eastern Standard Time, guitargirl677@hotmail.com writes: > kinda knew something was up during the grammies when Elton and Eminem got > >a standing ovation and Sheryl was one of a couple people sitting still and > >she was right in the front row. She doesn't like to say anything controversial and if she had said "it sucks, I hate it" then she'd automatically be causing problems for herself. So she took the more diplomatic view. For all we know the reporter ended up cutting what she said to make it sound like she was a fan. Also, I think she was simply saying she didn't think he should be censored, and I think that's a sort of big issue with her seeing how Wal mart tried to censor her. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2001 23:39:27 -0500 From: "PIXYSTYX" Subject: [sheryl-crew] SHERYL & NAPSTER WHAT DOES SHERYL FEEL ABOUT NAPSTER?
