It was unbelievable---I got to meet them all and splendor gave away free posters which they signed and I got pics w/ them But the best part was meeting Vertical Horizon---they signed my cd cover and the cd and I got to talk to them all for about 5 minutes. I talked to Matt (the bald lead singer) and got a picture of him with his arm on my shoulder which is great---we talked about his new video and he said it was going to premiere today on vh1 and it did and I just saw it. They were all super nice, really funny, and put on a kick ass live show. Third Eye Blind, which i was not that big of a fan before, were INCREDIBLE live---they blew away. Anyways, Vertical Horizon rocks, and i highly recommend their cd to everybody. ===== Brad __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo! NEWS I can't believe we missed this. I just browsed trough the credits of Sheryl's albums. Someone mentioned the name Peter Stroud and somehow I thought I was on Sheryl's albums playing guitar.. but no. But I saw that behind the News section the word recent was placed. Look what I found: How could we not know this, isn't on the official forum? http://www.cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver/SID=1181184978/pagename=/RP/CDN/FIND/discography.html/artistid=CROW*SHERYL/docid=393694/select=news Stevie Nicks And Friends Concert To Feature Henley, Buckingham, Crow July 21, 2000, 10:25 am PT Stevie Nicks has rounded up a stellar group of friends for a Sept. 23 concert at the America West Arena in Phoenix to benefit the Arizona Heart Institute Foundation (AHIF). On board for the Wells Fargo Stevie Nicks and Friends concert are Don Henley, former Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham, and Sheryl Crow. Chris Isaak and Lenny Kravitz are also likely "friends," though that is not confirmed yet. Nicks has gotten behind the AHIF because heart disease has affected both her parents, who have undergone heart bypasses. All proceeds from the event benefit the Arizona Heart Institute Foundation Building Fund to build a community education and research center that will break ground in the fall. Tickets go on sale Friday (July 21), and are priced at $65, $55, $40, and $25; there is a 10-ticket limit. Sponsorship packages which include an after-show party with Nicks and other celebrities are also available for $500 and $1,000. If you want tickets, better act fast. As of Friday, July 21, the sponsorship tickets were gone (like any of us had $1000 or $500 extra anyway!) and the $65 tickets were gone as well. Perhaps only the nosebleed section is left. Ticketmaster is the wonderful (yeah, sure) agent for this show. www.ticketmaster.com Gregg. Brigitte Beeks wrote: > I can't believe we missed this.
