Hi you guys, I'm just catching up on my digests, and I had to reply to this one - my favorite Sheryl moment in a song is where she screams in the middle of "Love Is A Good Thing". It's kind of what got me into Sheryl, actually. I was at Tower Records, and the album was on one of the listening stations, and I was looking at the song titles, and I was like "Love Is A Good Thing", what a cool song title, and I listened to it, and I was like wow, and I bought the CD, and I've been a fan ever since. That's my little story. :) Later, Beth "We make love and we make joy" - -Sheryl Crow "Just ask anybody they'll tell you that it's true" - -Sheryl Crow ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 May 2000 15:18:17 MDT From: "Beth Krawczyk" Subject: [sheryl-crew] oh marie >I've never heard crash and burn in concert, but I have heard Oh Maire. > >- -katie What? Hard Rock Live is a show that VH1 has that shows some of the artists they play live in concert. It is the same concert as the one on Rockin The Globe 99 video & DVD, except shorter to fit into the 1 hour time constraint. It's too bad they didn't use a different show because I know she had quite a few great tour stops and I would have loved to see some more of them documented, kind of like a tour diary..Oh well, maybe that's something they may consider in the future. They also added a little mini bio thing at the beggining that was maybe 5-10 mins long, I'd have to check. Since I bought the Rockin' the Globe video I don't really watch the Hard Rock one anymore, but the interview clips are pretty nice I guess. I would really reccomend the video, because Home is a real treat, you're not getting the full effect of the concert unless you've seen this. It's just Sheryl & her piano, and she blows me away.. Beware of some online auction sites, some guy is selling the DVD for a starting bid of $40, but you can find it online and off for between $20-$25, don't get ripped off. The video is a little cheaper, I got mine at Best Buy for $17. Oh before I forget, yesterday I was surfing ebay abd came across a bunch of bogus nude celeb discs which claim Sheryl is nude in, which to my knowledge she's never done. Just some jerk trying to make a quick buck by slapping her name and a bunch of other famous ones on there..I hope ebay gets rid of them, because there's like 50 of them at least and it makes searching through Sheryl memorobila a pain. Anyway that wasn't what I was gonna mention..I saw a bootleg of the CP show from Taiwan that had all of the songs, including the ones on that weren't on the official, but it had the same cover except for some asian language characters on the side). Just wondering if anyone knew if this was widely available, because I can imagine Interscope would not be too happy w/ this for sale. Is it true ebay is cracking down on bootlegs? I heard that one somewhere, but I still see quite a few up there. Sorry for this being so long I just wanted to try to squeeze all this into one message, thanks for reading. :) - ---------------------------------------------------- Sheryl Crow : If It Makes You Happy Join Care2.com's Race for the Rain Forest! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 May 2000 23:05:38 -0700 (PDT) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?fiona=20cox?= Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Live in London video OOH!!
