Lol, okay so if you're really strapped for cash and you can't live without your Central park cd (Ok I know you can't)..You can join some online incentive programs and eventually earn enough points to get a cdnow certificate. It takes a while but if you're struggling for cash it might be something to check out. www.freeride.com is a good one. Either that or you could cry & beg till someone in your family buys you one to shut you up ;) Good luck. BTW, I've had more than my fair share of Sheryl mishaps...1 mix tape with some b-sides & live songs was eaten by my cd player, another one w/ a 97 concert on it was ruined, and I accidently taped the begginging of a friends ep over part of Everyday is a Winding Road on the Central Park broadcast..doh! - ---------------------------------------------------- Sheryl Crow : If It Makes You Happy Join Care2.com's Race for the Rain Forest! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2000 14:44:37 -0400 From: "Jonathan Martin" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] The stoooopid things people do! Hehehehehe, oh man, that's awful! Anyway, I have a story, today in English class we had a free period (a substitute) and I had my CD player with me. Anyway, my friend came in about halfway through the period, and I handed her my headphones. I figured, hey, why not try to convert her to Sherylism? lol. But anyway, I had on Every Day Is A Winding Road. So she puts on the headphones, and a minute later starts singing, not really loudly, but considering this was a totally silent classroom, it was loud. After a few lines "Every day is a winding road...I get a little bit closer...every day is a faded sign...I get a little bit closer to feelin' fine...." she turns beet red, takes off the headphones, turns around and mumbles to me "Did you hear that?" Hehehehehe. Meanwhile, the whole class is cracking up. :) Kate ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 May 2000 12:29:25 PDT From: "innocent denial" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] The stoooopid things people do!
