Hi crew,
  I was just listening to The Difficult Kind on TGS and I heard some strange 
noise, I thought I was imagining it so I went back and listened again and it 
was still there
Right at two points at about 1 min 50 and 2 mins there are two noises the 
first really gentle and the second a kind of soft 'NO' just around the lyrics 
'Tell it to me slow, Tell me with your eyes, If anyone should know, How to 
let it slide'

Could someone else please listen really carefully and see if you can also 
hear it

You'd better watch this.

In Japan too, Rockin' the Globe Live will be telecast on a satellite tv 
station on 27th of this month, and according to a person at the station, 
this comes from the different master whose timing is 95 minutes. Yes, 12 
minutes longer than the packaged video. It remains to be seen though if 
this is really different from the video, but it's definitely worth seeing 
(or recording).

Steve Earle and Sheryl Crow are teaming up on a cover of The Chambers 
Brothers hippie hit "Time Has Come Today" for the soundtrack of the 
upcoming Abbie Hoffman biopic "Steal This Movie." 
  
 Launch reports the soundtrack will be filled with other duets, including 
Jackson Browne and Joan Osborne doing Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages" and Ringo 
Starr and Billy Preston doing John Lennon's "Power To The People," as well 
as Bonnie Raitt covering Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" and Ani 
DiFranco singing "When I'm Gone." 
  
 Earle told Launch "Steal This Movie" is "one of the best films I've ever 
seen. It's a really important story." 
  
 The film, which stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Jeaneane Garofalo, Jeanne 
Tripplehorn and Kevin Pollack, is due in theatres Aug. 25

I just wanted to share a little story with you.  It's about my trip to
L.A. this last weekend.  I was going to look for a place to live and all
that jazz, anyway, I was stuck in San Francisco for about 9 hours and I
was hangin' with some people that I had met right away, well, this girl
looked just like Sheryl and I flipped out and I told her that I thought
so and she said that everyone tells her that and that she has literally
been mobbed by groups of girls.  Also she was getting her oil changed
and the guy kept looking at her and then looking at the Rolling Stone
Mag that had Sheryl on the cover, anyway, he finally grabbed the
magazine and went up to her and asked her for her autograph.  How cool
is that???  Can you imagine looking like her?  I told her that she
should take it as a compliment, she said she did.  Anyway, she's my new
friend and we found out that I know her cousins and she only lives in
the next town that's 15 min. away.  How funny is that?  So, I have a
friend who looks just like Sheryl.  That's all I wanted to say.  Sorry
for babbling.
