But not quite, obviously. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online and get email alerts with Yahoo! (I can't remember if I ever saw her play the piano before, even in concert?!?) There are lots of stars in these commercials-- I think because it's part of MTVi (which I assume is part of MTV) they were able to attract lots of these artists. Lara, good luck in the job and apt search in LA! I will be doing the same thing (as I think I posted before). Right now I'm looking on the Internet for a job in LA and hope to get an interview soon so I can fly out there and look around. I would be relocating from my current home in Washington, DC. Let us (me) know how the apt search goes since I've found several websites that imply that some apts in LA are only available through brokers, and others available to people who "subscribe" to listings for about $60/3 months. Thanks. - -Larr _____________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Click here for FREE Internet Access and Email http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 16:06:58 -0400 From: "Brooke J." Sheryl appears on the cover (a very tiny pic.) and someone said there's a good snippet of women in music on the video. Well anyway, if you have a Suncoast Video near you....it's only 99cents!!!! I've got to get one! But I've never hear of Suncoast Video, let alone have one localy! I'd sell my right kindey one the black market for that! (Considering that I've threatened to put my left kidney on the black market for the MTV 1515, aka Sheryl for President!) LOL. Anyway, good luck! When you get it you'll have to tell me all about it, since I have no opertunity to see it! - -katie grace From: "Brooke J." This week I am taking the English one, which includes contructed response and an essay. We had to write a huge essay on the question given to us......the question was how has music, art, or writing affected people? I chose of course music and FINALLY got to use Sheryl in one of my papers. I used her twice actually.....once while talking about how music can make you happy and once while discussing Woodstock 99. I used many Sheryl related things too like Bob Dylan and Lilith Fair. It was one of the easiest papers I have ever written. I had a tape of the whole "Tribute to Johnny Cash" (from April 1999) that was aired on TNT. Little knowing to me, I had a family member record over it, which definetely pissed me off (cut off right in the middle of "Flesh and Blood"!!!). If anyone has a copy that they can arrange for a trade/payment just mail me. I'd prefer the whole show (cause I loved Johnny Cash, and the covers were all (for the most part) done extremely well). Thank you to all who give me a bit of help. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V3 #119 *********************************
