Whoever said that partying was a bad thing? Or that being a "bad girl" is so awful? Does that change the fact that she has amounts of talent that most people could only dream of? or that she's a cool person? Personally the things that I've seen that make her out to be a so called "bad girl" only add to her character, make her seem like a 'real person' rather than this untouchable star. - -Sheryl - -----~Though dreams can be deceiving, like faces are to hearts, they serve for sweet relieving, when fantasy and reality lie to far apart~----- - --*--Fiona Apple--*-- ______________________________________________________ Sent by FortuneCity Mail at http://www.fortunecity.com Join now and receive 20Mb of free web space and E-mail ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2000 19:39:22 -0500 (EST) From: zcarvajal@webtv.net (Zoe Carvajal) Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl, the "Bad Girl" - --WebTV-Mail-32367-645 Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Ask your friend just what EXACTLY is it that Sheryl has done wrong. tell her to back up what she believes. SC has many friends in the industry; many highly regarded people admire her and sing with her and play with her. I don't think they would do that and put their own reputations on the line if SC were really such a horrible person. There are politicians who do much worse -- and they're running the country! One of my friends and I were having a friendly argument over music until I said something about Sheryl being a good person or something like that. My friend was like "Oh Please! Everyone knows she is a wild, partying, easy (which really made me mad because she was basically calling her a slut) "bad girl". Needless to say, I wasn't too happy. Then she said just read all the magazine articles, they always talk about her being a partying bad girl. I argued and argued but my (very hard to say this at this point) friend was convinced that she was right, any suggestions on how can I prove her wrong?? I'ts taken from the drdrew.com interview @ http://www.drdrew.com/publish/profiles/A529.html drDrew.com: What do you do in your leisure time? SC: Well, I'm not much of a partier anymore. I find that I enjoy clarity much more, and it's not the clarity I miss out on when I'm drinking. It's the clarity I miss the next morning when I'm feeling hung over. I still struggle with that urge because there's a big part of me that still likes that whole escapist, out-of-your-head thing. So I try to see as many friends as possible. I like to go to dinner--just normal everyday stuff. I love to look at catalogs. How many junkies do you hear saying that they browse through catalogs in their spare time. They usualy rip the pages out, cause they ran outta paper to roll with. See see!! She actually LOOKS at them!! - -katie ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V3 #91 ********************************
