It is great to read how you share your feelings about Sheryl and her music. I am with you. It was 1995 when I saw Sheryl on the TV. It was an interview and I heard her saying exactly what I thought about the Rock music. Then I decided to buy a cassette to listen in my car and this way I turned into a fan of her. Since this time I keep listening to her music almost every day and I don't get tired to do it. I think that making a Sheryl's fans website is a good idea. This way everybody will know the others and this is something like online meeting. It would be much easier than to organize a real meeting. Jonathan is ready to spend his time and skills to make such a website. Thanks him. I would suggest to have one more thing added to the information on each of us - one or two portrait pictures (for those who have cameras or scanners). I think this will make the things pretty close to the real meeting. Does somebody of you knows if some other artist has a fan's website like this. I would be happy to have such a website if I was an artist. Especially when my career starts going down. Hey, I don't want to say that Sheryl's career is going down but one day it happens to everybody. Bye. Hi, Crew, Well, Brigitte, you were right, Heather released more than 2 CD's, In order of releasing date : The first recording (1990), Glow stars(1993), Blow (Live, 1993), Oyster (1995), Live from the Milky way (Live, 1995), Siren (1998), and soon the live album from her last tour and also an new album. You can find her tributes on the OST of The Crow2, the Craft, Felicity, but also on lilith fair #2, Burning london( a tribute to The Clash), 2 meter sessies #6, and she song gloomy sunday for a german movie... I really appreciate the live version of Sugar, that rocks.. She had an incredible voice, and the music makes me feel like if i was in heaven ( for example, cello and guitar only on "Blessed" and "Walking higher" on stage, you'll never believed what you can feel then). As you can see, I really appreciate her. Sheryl Crow and Heather Nova are my two favorites singers and songwriters, and so on.. If you have the opportunity, take the time to listen to her, it's very amazing. It's easy to talk about music you really enjoy. I'm sorry if I take some of your time for a subject not really included in Sheryl's music, but I'm glad to share that with you. After reading all your mails, I buy some CD's from Sarah McLachlan, 'cause i didn't really know her. So, I hope that after reading that, some of you will listen and enjoy Heather's music. Sorry for my bad English... Have a nice day, my friends, Jenny ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2000 06:51:39 EST From: DParr122@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Barnstable Brown In a message dated 03/22/2000 12:27:54 PM Eastern Standard Time, oldjamesdeanmonroe@yahoo.com writes: << Barnstable Brown Party along with the Backstreet Boys, Emmylou Harris >> Hey this sounds COOL, but what is this a gig the night before the runninig? She is truly amazing. I die when I listen to her music, she fulfills my musical needs. Jenny, that's so cool you've seen her three times, I would love to see her. Her voice is amazing, I can't even imagine what she sounds like live. Thanks for telling me though. I'm gonna have to get right out there and get those live CD's of hers, I'll bet they're awesome too. Anyway thanks you guys. Also, I just wanted to tell you all that Friday night, my 94 Honda Civic Ex got broken into and they stole my Canon Camera, my CD player, a little t.v., some clothes and some other little things, but do you know what?????? They didn't take my book of CD's. It's a miracle, huh? All of my Sheryl CD's were in there, all my imports of hers, all of the CD's I get off of the net of hers and about 90 other different CD's. It was sitting right there on my back seat too. They just didn't even touch it. THANK GOD or I'd still be crying. I'm very upset about my camera, but atleast they didn't take all of my CD's. Also, I have a new Ovation guitar and it was in trunk, which is where my camera was, anyway, at like 12:30am, I remembered my guitar was out there and I went and got it. LUCKY ME!!! Anyway, just thought I'd share that with ya. Bye now Lara p.s. Dave, thanks for liking my babbling. If that makes any sense!!! ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V3 #88 ********************************
