Amanda and Crew: I got my cd from the test drive, in fact they sent me two, but it took some doing. Here's what I did: 1st I called them Jan4, talked with Stephanie, gave her the dealers name phone number and date of test drive (Oct 29) , she said she would pass the info on, if I didn't receive any thing in about 2 weeks call back, which I did this time I talked to Roger, he took the info and said basically the same thing. then about feb 8 Icalled again explained the whole thing again to Stephanie telling her that I had talked to her then roger, she stated that they didn't work on the promo's but she would definitely get into for me since I did the test drive. The following week I received not one bur two. It's really a great cd. I would suggest you call them again @ 1-877-788-63337, ask for stephanie or roger and explain your plight. Here's prating you have the same success I had. Good Luck DaveP ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Mar 2000 08:12:24 EST From: DParr122@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Waouw.... What is this about music in the good old days?? Someone mentioned it before but there are a whole lot of legends who made that music in the good old days i.e. Eric Clapton, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hind, Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan~who think Sheryl is very talented. This person is just wacked out. We know what good music is and no one can change that. Take Care Amanda =) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Mar 2000 12:56:35 EST From: Dflitzer@aol.com Subject: [sheryl-crew] Rock Hall of Fame Crew, I didn't haven't seen anyone say anything, so I was wondering if anyone watched the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ceremony Wed. night? Did Sheryl show up and have anything to do with Clapton or anyone else? I am assuming NO, otherwise I figure that I would have read something about it. I had to work so I missed it. Have a good day! Hey Crew! hope you're all well; I've been on hiatus, mostly sick, but feeling a lot better now... and feeling terrific today with the news that two of my favourite artists have recorded a song together - yay! - Sheryl plays piano, harmonium and sings on a track, "Kiss Her Goodnight", with Stacey Earle. Stacey's wonderful debut CD, "Simple Gearle", is one of my most-loved CDs of the past few years. I was introduced to Stacey by a member of this list (hi Medusa! if you're still around), and she's a beautiful person as well as musician ~ playing, like Emmylou Harris and friends, what folks call alternative country-folk, Americana or whatever. (She's Steve Earle's sister, and can be heard singing and playing on some of her bro's recordings.) Stacey tours a LOT so check out her calendar and be sure to see her perform if she and her musical/life partner, Mark Stuart, come to your town or area. They're more than great! Anyway, the official release date of Stacey's next CD "Dancin' With Them That Brung Me" is May 9th. It should be available on Stacey's site @ www.staceyearle.com the end of March/early April. can't wait! woohooo!!! see y'all Adrian TSUNAMI, a non-profit society, promotes and fosters the development and appreciation of unsung ~ often teenage ~ artists and musicians. I was wondering if anyone knew where this was preformed? She totally skipps the part where she says "this is LA" or New York City, or whatever she chooses to put in at the time.
