It was the worst piece of CRAP that I ever heard. How can you stand listenin' to that? I thought that the album would get better as it went along. But it got worse. After hearin' it I got so depressed that I felt like strangling myself with a thick piece of rope. You know it's a damn shame what people consider to be "good" music these days. Someone had that thing playin' on a radio and I shut that damn song off. Just a bunch of jumbled words in a song. And the sad thing is people buy that stuff. What ever happened to the good songs in the good old days? Can someone please tell me? The album I bought sucked and I'm sure the others are the same. Just remeber that there are a lot of dumb people out there, especially people who would judge an artist on one song. Let them enjoy their manufactured pop music or whatever they listen to. I used to get upset when I read stuff like that, but then I realized that it's not worth it, especially when the person seems to be to ignorant to understand. - ---------------------------------------------------- Sheryl Crow : If It Makes You Happy Join Care2.com's Race for the Rain Forest! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Mar 2000 17:22:33 -0500 (EST) From: zcarvajal@webtv.net (Zoe Carvajal) Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Waouw.... - --WebTV-Mail-20805-1575 Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Actually, I feel sorry for anyone who gets so "depressed" by listening to an album -- by anyone -- that he wants to commit suicide. He may be exagerrating in order to make a point but it tells you where his head is. Notice too that he doesn't specifically say what's wrong with the album...the production, the instruments used, the songs themselves? Anyone with any serious musical knowledge or credentials would have criticized her album with something more intelligent and substantial than what he wrote. I guess "old timers" like Chrisiie Hynde, Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, Keith Richard, Bob Dylan -- all these rock and roll hall of famers must be idiots to think her talented. It's only rock and roll...you shouldn't take it that seriously anyway and SC certainly doesn't which is why she's a joy to listen to. Im new to the crew glad to be part of it. - --WebTV-Mail-20805-1575 Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Message/RFC822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Received: from mailsorter-101-10.iap.bryant.webtv.net (209.240.198.44) by storefull-152.iap.bryant.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 10:29:58 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: Received: from chmls05.mediaone.net (ne.mediaone.net [24.128.1.70]) by mailsorter-101-10.iap.bryant.webtv.net (8.8.8-wtv-f/ms.dwm.v7+dul2) with ESMTP id KAA08408; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 10:29:55 -0800 (PST) Received: from smoe.org (jane.smoe.org [24.30.216.55]) by chmls05.mediaone.net (8.8.7/8.8.7) with ESMTP id NAA10867; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 13:29:13 -0500 (EST) Received: from localhost (daemon@localhost) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/listq-jane) with SMTP id NAA00214; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 13:28:26 -0500 (EST) Received: by smoe.org (bulk_mailer v1.10); Thu, 9 Mar 2000 13:28:06 -0500 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/listq-jane) id NAA00191 for sheryl-crew-outgoing; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 13:27:15 -0500 (EST) Received: from rodange.crpgl.lu (rodange.crpgl.lu [192.103.2.25]) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/daemon-mode-jane) with ESMTP id NAA00186 for ; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 13:26:54 -0500 (EST) Received: from lichtenthaler.sciences.crpcu.lu(lichtenthaler.sciences.crpgl.lu[193.168.73.96]) (2490 bytes) by rodange.crpgl.lu via sendmail with P:smtp/R:inet_hosts/T:smtp (sender: ) id for ; Thu, 9 Mar 2000 19:25:37 +0100 (MET) (Smail-3.2.0.104 1998-Nov-20 #1 built 1999-Jun-30) Message-Id: <3.0.5.32.20000309192556.007d41e0@rodange.crpgl.lu> X-Sender: renaut@rodange.crpgl.lu X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Light Version 3.0.5 (32) Date: Thu, 09 Mar 2000 19:25:56 +0100 To: sheryl-crew@smoe.org From: Jenny Renaut Subject: [sheryl-crew] Waouw....
