A couple of Sheryl's songs are on the sound track, Redemption Day and Every Day is a Winding Road. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 11:15:44 -0800 From: "Christopher Kowalski" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl On A New Soundtrack Greetings Sheryl Crew, Actually... I'm not sure if the "Erin Brockovich" soundtrack (when it comes out, if there is going to be one) will feature Sheryl Crow. I've seen the preview of the movie as well, and they play parts of "Redemption Day" and "Everyday Is A Winding Road", but often music featured in movie previews is just something they put in there to fill up space. Soundtracks usually are finished up just prior to the movie's theater debut, just like "Hurly Burly" which featured an edit of "There Goes The Neighborhood" in the preview (but not on the soundtrack), I doubt we'll see Sheryl's songs on the actual soundtrack. But it would be nice... :-) Here's hoping that someone proves me wrong... I also saw a tv commercial for the movie that used Winding Road. It was "Maybe Angels" I think... Yeah, it was... Not "Redemption Day"... At least in the preview I saw in the theaters... Now I _really_ don't think the songs will be on the soundtrack, because "Maybe Angels" is about aliens, Elvis, John Lennon, and the whole Roswell incident. What would that have to do with the movie? :-) Christopher Kowalski - christopher@ussjustice.com http://www.ussjustice.com/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 12:00:37 -0800 (PST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Laurence?= Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] WinAmpskin ooops sorry brigitte! didn't i tell y'all where to get it? oh well, i'm really scatterbrained :) anyway, here it is: http://www.multimania.com/sherylfan/downloads/sherylcrow.zip and if you want to have a look at it before spending some time for downloading it, there's a picture on my site, don't remember the link of the pic so you'll have to go and see it on my site if you want to... I saw the actual movie at a press screening, not just the trailer on TV or before another movie. The songs in the movie are Redemption Day and Winding Road Those are the two credited to Sheryl in the movie's end credits. I don't know if their is going to be a soundtrack released on CD but these are the songs actually in the movie. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 18:01:13 -0500 From: "Brooke J." The film, titled "All Access," will also include performance footage from B.B. King, Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock, and Moby, among others. Producers hope to premiere "All Access" on Imax's giant screens around the time of the 2001 Grammys. Imax's first rock film, the 1991 Rolling Stones concert piece "At The Max," was released in 1991. Sting has worked with the company in the past, having scored the 1995 Imax film "The Living Sea." Hope it comes to my city! A friend just today asked me to look at one of the autographs for auction; and to me it looked like an obvious forgery. So i looked through a bunch more of the auctions and saw several more that look suspect. Even those with really high feedback numbers can get stuck with a fake every now and then, so please do your homework before bidding on one of the autograph auctions. best, Sean Linkenback ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 23:36:43 EST From: AmIGettingThrou@aol.com Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl Coming to an Imax Theater Near You!
