During a couple of timeouts in the first half of last nights Laker game, they blasted both "Maybe Angels" and "If It Makes You Happy" through the Staples Center sound system. I haven't missed a Laker game all season and that was the first time I've heard Sheryl rockin' the place. Hopefully, someone took note of how good it sounded and will start making it a common practice. Here's the sports part... In the fourth quarter, Lakers (who were up by 7 at this point) forget how to shoot and rebound, soundman forgets to play Sheryl for motivational purposes, and Portland comes back to win. Congrats to you Blazer fans up north. We'll get you next time ;) Chris http://home.pacbell.net/cbstket ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 19:25:20 +0100 From: "David Ribeiro" Subject: [sheryl-crew] TGTN New Video Crew, I just saw a video for There Goes The Neighborhood from Live in Central Park on TV. Is it playing in any other TV Channels, anyone else seen it ? They edited it and they have different scenes from different songs in the video. I thought it was pretty cool they made a video out of it, David ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 15:52:46 EST From: KSGymnast4@aol.com Subject: [sheryl-crew] Tour dates Once upon a time I knew a web site address that gave me all the latest tour dates for Sheryl, but considering she hasn't been touring since the summer, I didn't go there and lost the address. Anyone know what it is? Thanks. :) I should probably bring it up now so when she actually does start touring again this spring I won't miss it when she comes here....like I missed the central park concert...but I didn't have the resources of this list or the fan forum at that time....yeah, anyway, so if someone knows, tell me!! ;) :) Kate ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 13:04:42 PST From: "katie grace" Subject: [sheryl-crew] tour dates I know that if you go to www.sherylcrow.com they have a place where you can look up tour dates. Okay, guys, the conversation is lagging. So, let's get it moving again. Okay, take this situation here. I want to know how you guys would react. Okay, so you're in Manhattan, schlepping around (sorry, had to add that in). You've managed to lose your tour group, so you have no idea where you are. So you're walking around, trying to find them, but to no avail. Then, suddenly, you see a face in the multitude of New Yorkers who you connect with (had to add that for those of you who have RTG). It's Sheryl! She notices you seem a little disoriented and asks you if you're lost. After she steadies you and your jaw returns back to it's normal place, you tell her that you are indeed lost and can't find your group. She, since she's on one of her rare days off, offers to let you tag along with her until you find them. You, of course, accept gratefully. Your group then walks up and asks you where you've been. Sheryl notices you seem very disappointed and asks you if you still want to tag along with her for the day. You nod eagerly, and Sheryl assures your group she'll show you the right subway to get back to your hotel. So you go off happily tagging along with Sheryl for the next 6 or so hours until she has to go back to her studio. Where would you go? Pretend just for now it could happen. ;) Kate ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 19:22:34 -0500 From: leerl@bc.edu Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] tour dates isn't it obvious kate ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V3 #18 ********************************
