I thought that we could all maybe share our favorite Sheryl show memory -- whether it be something like direct contact with Sheryl, or just something neat that happened at a Sheryl concert. I know that mine, since I have only been to 1 show ever, was when she visited Boston and I was running up and down the stairs of the Orpheum to look for the person I was with, when i snagged a part of the loose carpet and went flying!! The great thing about it was, though, that when I hit the bottom, there were TONS of people helping me (and the people I knocked over) up. It just goes to show the kind of caring people that Sheryl attracts. Well, I can't wait to hear all of your's! Throat Operation? Hey Crew: Someone posted on the SC Fan Forum that Sheryl showed up in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) - bizarre story on a more bizarre website. You might want to check it out. I thought she was going to Hanoi with the Ban the Landmines thing. http://www.ParadoxCafe.Com/VICE is the name posted on the Sheryl Fan Forum. But interesting, they on their website that Sheryl had a throat operation. Anybody hear anything about that? I don't want to start rumors, but this is too weird. What do you all think about this? Anybody have some factual news? Gregg. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 18 Jan 2000 02:07:36 EST From: EAO77@aol.com Subject: [sheryl-crew] b-day book map--send me your city Hello everyone - I am going to try to do the map thing for the birthday book because Tom has other stuff going on right now. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about Tom had the idea of making a map that plots everyone's location. He sent me his data, which is great, but I thought it would be fun to make it a bit more specific. I also don't think everyone has sent in their place of residence. I have peoples states and countries, but not the cities. So, if you would all send me (privately) your specific location I can see what I can put together. I am not very good at geography so any details you can give me would be most appreciated (ex.: I live in Everett, WA which is a bit up from Seattle). I have to get this mailed off so I can really only take locations until Tuesday (tomorrow). I'll check my email in the late evening. I don't know what specific time. Let's say after 10 pm. I will try to get everyone so go ahead and send them just try to do it as soon as possible. I think that's everything. If you have any questions please email me. Have a great day!!
