Yeseterday I found a used copy of the album, and remembering some people here having recommended her, I bought it though I have never heard a song by her(FYI I rarely do so though Sheryl was one of those exceptions back in '93). Honestly speaking, I really like it. Does she have other albums out? Strange, I can > > hear the Trinity version in my head right now. You are both correct. Madison was the last date where she performed part of "Is it like today" after ABD. BUT.... The date in question was April 23, 1999 which is the second night of her Chicago dates, and she did play part of "How long has this been going on" after ABD. so if any of you have wrong dates on your CD's - please correct them. Don't ask me about the subject it just sounded cool. Today I did something that made me very proud--I converted someone to Sheryl Crowism ( ???? ). Yes, I had a friend who was totally in the dark so I showed them the light--using videos, live appearances, and CD's--I introduced them to the wonderful talent that is Sheryl Crow. They gave me all this crap about I don't like that "pop chick" (???) who only wants to have some fun but by the end of my "preaching" they had a different tune. "Wow, she is a really good song writer and she is awesome live, she rocks."--DUH-- I do not have a clue why I feel compelled to tell you guys this but I do, maybe it is because of my complete boredom and lack of wanting to do homework, who knows. Regarding tabs..well that a funny thing on the internet. You can't really find many, some sites are closed due to royalties, ans some people's tabs just really suck or they don't know what tablature really is. Unknown to them its not just a little g above a lyric. man there ton's of ways to play a g what is it really. also i hate it when its way way way off. sure you can just change the key but they screw that up to. As for tabs I learned the difficult kind from here offical tab book, my guitar teacher and just listening for the changes. As for string enough I have the guitar world acoustic tab that came out a little while back but also a guitar magazine from 94/95 that's a little different in the main progression with a few notes and a little different in the chorus. For example the chorus in gwa has finger picked Eminor backed with a strummed eminor further up the neck. While my older mag has a regular old Eminor 7th strummed or picked. For cases Like this I probaly see what part sounds the best, is coreect and comfortable and tab every thing out by hand and ear. But if anyone has any advice let me know. I also found out that one of my friends very favorite songs of all time was Home, she failed to tell me this until a few months into school. So we watched Storytellers together and she cried! I was in awe that someone could love that one song so much and not give her other songs a chance.....so I stepped in.....and now she owns TGS and LOVES it. She said she would go to see Sheryl with me if she came to Toronto (which is awesome considering she lives 4 hours from me!).
