I saw it yesterday, opening day here in Toronto. I thought is was a great film, Sheryl was wonderful, although I must admit it was weird seeing her smoking, drinking and swearing...and shooting up of course lol! My favorite line of her's definately had to be: "I wanna be pickled!" That was so funny, I think I was the only one who giggled at that one,lol, I have a dirty mind sometimes. I hate days like this. The only inspiring thing was my break when I put in the new Indigo Girls cd "Come On Now Social" which, I must say, I LOVE! And my favorite song is one of the songs Sheryl sings back up on (she is on two of the songs total). It is called "Cold Beer and Remote Control". You can really tell that it is Sheryl...on one part that goes "sit down...the room is dark" you can totally hear Sheryl's voice and it is so beautiful. I listen to that song so many times every day. I really encourage you guys checking it out. I like all of the songs except the last one. Damn, how come I have never seen this? I've only seen the A change with Sheryl in the orange shirt waving her finger around at people, with Molly Shannon, Ellen, etc..I know Sheryl didnt like this video, and that she made a new one, BUT I thought it was the live one that VH1 used to show ( I don't get vh1 anymore so I don't know if that's only something that they showed or not, although I wish i did, they Should just change it to SH1 (sheryl hits one) or something. I've missed a lot of her earlier videos too like The Can't Cry Anymore one which until recently I didn't even know existed. Serves me right for missing the Spotlight .Doh! (Wasn't it show on 2 nights too?)
