I am soo bouncy right now! Thank goodness I set my timer last nite, thinking Sessions would probably appear in my area cuz that's what the Sessions' site said. You can never trust things around here...anyways...it used to be on Saturday nites too. All righty, Jim (drummer) sures knows how to get the mood in there cuz I could not stop dancing around. Yeah, everyone in my house thought I was nuts, but hey! It's Sheryl Crow! She kicks ass live! Even if it's on TV! I like how she introduced the band, I love it when the band leaders are close to their band members. That's what makes a performance kick ass. Believe me, Cyndi Lauper is still awesome and still singing that Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Why? The band is tight and all. Oh yeah..a question about Sessions...when was it taped? I noticed the band kinda went into a heavy metal thing. Even Peter was doing a little head banging there, or maybe I was looking at it the wrong way. :) Ohk...so I caught Sessions and had to fast forward thru GMA cuz of the conspiracy we all know of right? Bring in a tour bus of old people and have them smiling.... *ugh* I was going to watch it again, but there was another thing that just bugged the shit out of me. While Sheryl is talking about Net Aid, pay attention to some old man who looks like he's about to drool and he has a camera around his neck. (a sure sign of a tour bus surprise package. not fair...not fair!) But it's not just him...there's some lady peering over the male host, smiling and nodding her head like "uh huh...uh huh." grrrrr! So...my solution to this problem. We need a class offered on what the hell you're supposed to do at a concert or while a free live performance is going on! I noticed the Sessions people could benefit from this as well cuz I was definitely grooving to TGTN. Geez! What is wrong with these people?! Ohk...I'm really going too far, but I'm serious. While the music is playing I want to have a shitload of fun...get on my feet and do whatever the hell I please. Now...the one thing I'd like to do if I was ever in a situation where I could see Sheryl playing for GMA...kick the old people to the back and have me and my friends up there! :) Call me a rabid fan or whatever, I'd probably end up in jail or something! LOL! Oh well..sorry for getting way out of hand. But please! Stop the torture of having an audience that's not into the music or even look like they're not having fun! They also have a certain meaning for each different color (for instance,"keeps away evil spirits" or something to that effect) but I don't really pay attention to that...just whatever color is favorite. Also, as for the watch with the big velcro band...I got one at the Swatch store around the corner from me. It has a countdown until the year 2000 and then on New Years Eve it will do some special thing on the watch screen. I will keep ya'll posted...LOL.
