If it existed I would join it right away! And yes the only thing we have to do is to get Sheryl's management in contact with these people. Anybody know how? Doesn't her official site has an e-mailaddress or something? Brigitte ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 02 Oct 1999 14:36:16 +0200 From: Brigitte & Michael Subject: [sheryl-crew] Re: Fan Asylum (folluw up) I travelled around the site and look what I've found here: - ---- For over a decade San Francisco-based Fan Asylum, Inc. has been managing and coordinating fan clubs for some of the entertainment industry's hottest stars. Our current client roster reads like a virtual Who's Who of popular music: Melissa Etheridge, Boyz II Men, Bush, Megadeth, TLC, Jordan Knight, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Maxwell, Whitney Houston, and SHERYL CROW, all of whom rely upon Fan Asylum to handle their fan clubs. All of these musicians sought the services of Fan Asylum because of our reputation for providing unequaled, cutting edge fan clubs. - ------- Is there something we don't know (yet)??? But to me it seems that Sheryl Crow already joined Fan Asylum. Patty Griffin is a super talented guitarist/singer/song writer. If anyone has heard the new Dixie Chicks cd, Patty wrote the song "Let Him Fly" that they sing as the last track. They do a good job, it is almost exactly as Patty sings it on her "Living With Ghosts" cd. It is definitly worth checking out! I am going to see her today--have tickets to "Sessions at W. 54th" where she is taping an upcoming special. So, I will let you all know when it will be aired so you can check it out. Other favorites are Sarah McLachlan, Bonnie Raitt, a woman named Karla Bonoff (who I am sure no one on here listens to, if you do, let me know!), and I really like Lenny Kravitz. Sheryl is definitly #1 though. Not totally sure though.. Rock on! I'd recommend the first 2 CDs-- either "Little Earthquakes" or "Under the Pink". The next 2 CDs are more eclectic and probably aren't for new fans. Thanks to whoever mentioned the unreleased Sheryl Crow CD costing about $25. I will assume that's a reasonable price (though on eBay they are going for $35 and more). It was in answer to someone else asking about "Hundreds of Tears"-- when I asked about the CD on this list I didn't get any answers I could use. Someone suggested trading for it but I have absolutely nothing rare of Sheryl's to trade! - -Larr ________________________________________________________ NetZero - We believe in a FREE Internet. The movie was actually called "The Haunting", but anyone could've made that mistake :o) he also starred in "Bottle Rocket" and had a small role in "Armaggeddon". I believe that they have been dating for close to a year, if not a year. I remember reading an article (in EW coincidentally) that came out before TGS was realeased and it said that she left holding hands with Owen....so who knows how long they were together before that. ===== Brad __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? David - -----Original Message----- Okay guys, I'm kind of getting sick of hearing everybody's favorite artists, no offense, but there is one I would like to mention that nobody else has. I recommend everybody go buy Alana Davis' cd "Blame It On Me." You might have heard her minor hit "32 Flavors" (a cover of the Ani DiFranco song). She is an awesome singer...I think she was 19 at the time and she wrote all her in songs---she is in no way at all like the "teen craze" going on right now. Anybody else have the cd? It's awesome. ===== Brad __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
