What an awesome concert! I think the Detroit show and this one were equally good... I may have liked the Detroit one slightly better b/c it was an entire Sheryl show.... However, the Central Park show has the advantage of Clapton on guitar, WOW! I swear that guy was put on this earth with the sole intention of playing guitar. I've never seen anyone play so smoothly and naturally... One other thing about the Central Park show...I was at Lilith Fair this summer, and I thought that the Dixie Chicks singer's voice was a tad bit annoying that day...this concert only confirmed that fact. (my opinion) The band as a whole seems like great musicians, but the singers voice...I can't put a finger on exactly what it is, but it makes me cringe. Does anyone else get this feeling or is it just me?? I'm curious. I realize they've sold Oodles and Oodles of CD's, but I can't be the ONLY one can I? Oh well...Sheryl rocked! Am I Getting Through is so good live...I wish she would have done Riverwide, because that one is 20 times more beautiful live than in the studio...but I'm satisfied! SHERYL ROCKS!!
