Neil Young, in the group from 1969 to 1974, orchestrated the project after hearing initial tracks of a self-financed CSN record. The foursome will perform at Young's Bridge School Benefit concerts Oct. 30-31 in Mountain View, Calif., on a bill that includes Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow and Billy Corgan. - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neil and his wife support a school for physically and mentally handicapped children and Neil puts on a benefit concert every October to raise money for the school. Prior acts have included Pearl Jam, The Wallflowers, David Bowie, Sarah Maclagan, The Pretenders, Cowboy Junkies, etc. So it's pretty neat that Sheryl is playing this year. Sheryl KICKED ASS!!! The set list was as follows (not in order, I can't remember that) ACWDYG (opener) MFM TDK (the only person standing up, I was 5th row center so Sheryl kept looking at me, Peter also kept looking at me and smiling cause I knew all the words to all the songs) IIMYH (starts out as country, everyone except me sat down, then when she started rockin' it out the dorks stood up again, see only I knew!) SE(with the Dixie Chicks, it was excellent) LLV ("we are going to do a very long version of this song") IDH EDIAWR (Ash on bongos) TGTN (closer) Sheryl didn't do the duet with Sarah on Angel, Deborah Cox did, and she did a BEAUTIFUL job, but I hope Sheryl does it tomorrow! The finale was great, but the best part was at the end when Sheryl ran up and planted a HUGE kiss on Sarah's cheek, then jumped into Sarah's arms (like a baby) and Sarah carried her off stage like that! Figures that's when my camera runs out of film, so I hope she does it tomorrow too! Sheryl came out to sing with the Indigo girls but I was in the bathroom so I missed it, oh well again, hopefully tomorrow! I had no Sheryl encounters, can anyone tell me what her tour bus looks like, like what colour it is?
