Christina ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 8 Aug 1999 15:45:31 -0500 (EST) From: David Subject: Diary, Harsh Reviews, more first, this link is to a review that shows a different cover of TGS. It's a so-so review and the cover it shows has the regular writing of SC with TGS underneath. It's just not in the ticket logo. Don't bother if your browser takes more than 10 seconds to load. It's not THAT cool: http://www.xtra.co.nz/entertainment/music/reviews/sheryl.html These next 3 reviews were ones that I thought were either somewhat or really mean. not in any real order, except that the third one is the worst. I have posted this link to the FAN FORUM before and everyone agreed. http://www.sstage.com/music/reviews/rev071.htm http://westnet.westnet.com/consumable/1998/09.28/revscrow.html http://www.njo.com/music/edition54/crow.html NEXT, I recently went to the official site, and I was happy to read that it was nominated for a MTV award for best web site. We sure know that SC will never win an actual video award. OH well. did you all see the new link from the THE ROAD page that there's a tour diary. It was really neat to read. but there's only one entry. so far. Third, I didn't realize how bad Woodstock was until I read the SM quote. Damn, she really made Sheryl sound like a victim. That sucks. i'm glad she didn't walk off the stage though. That would have been much worse to read the reviews than the "taking your top off" anecdote, which by the way, EVERY singe reviewer mentioned. I wonder if it will make her realize she can't rock as hard as the rest, and she will just retreat and make a country album, or will she go back the second album mentality with something to prove. I guess we'll have to find out. My other predictions will be that she has a shitload of guests on her next album or that it might turn out too LILITH. Sorry this message is so long, I've been on vacation for a week. I would love to hear what people have to say but I have one request: please don't reply and include my message in your emssage. I CANNOT STAND THAT. My email program is really slow and when I have to wait only to read what has already been said it gets realy aggravating. So that's about it. Thanks for reading. DAVID ps, missed jen's radio show because I was on vacation. did anyone hear the cover of IIMYH? How was it? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Aug 1999 01:38:49 EDT From: SCFANCLUB2@aol.com Subject: OFF: Reminder about "reply" change Due to popular request, I have made a change in the way this list is set up. For those of you that are on the loose mail version of this list (you get each post individually), when you hit "reply", your reply will now go to the person who wrote the post that you are replying to. (It had been set up that by hitting "reply" it automatically went to the list). What this means that is from now on, if you wish for your reply to ALSO go to the list (sheryl-crew@smoe.org), you will either have to it "reply-all" (which in most cases sends your reply to the person who wrote the post AND the list), or you will also have to type in sheryl-crew@smoe.org in the To: field. If you accidently get a response that you think might apply to the entire list, please have the courtesy of either passing the message along to the list, or e-mailing the person back and letting them know of their mistake. If you're on the digest, this has no affect on you. Lisa ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Aug 1999 02:00:28 -0400 From: "F.
