I was flipping through the channels yesturday and I caught the end credits of a movie called Head Above Water. They were playing "Love is a Good Thing" while they scrolled the names. Even better, it was a different version of the song, it wasn't the LP version so maybe Sheryl sang it just for the movie. In TV Guide it says it's "A darkly comic story of a couple's corpse-hiding efforts, which lead to murderous marital woes." I don't know how the song fits it, but as usual, Sheryl was excellent. I checked the listings, they're showing the movie again at 11:15am Eastern on HBO in case anyone's interested. Appreciate it. Louis, THe song Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a song from Queen and a cover song for the Gap commercial sung by Dwight Yoakam. I think he did a great job! I had always like that song, one of the few songs I had liked from Queen have to admit. Rica, Thanks for your comment about Sheryl doing a country album. I think it would be interesting and hope she does do one in the future! I don't think that would be the end for her, heck her fans should respect her wishes. And she's sang with Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, and Dwight Yoakam in the past already. I seen her on the Johnny Cash Tribute Special on TNT and thought she was great performing the country stuff. Also I don't usually care about who's dating who either but Dwight Yoakam happens to be my favorite country singer and when I had heard that Sheryl and he were dating well it was interesting! I was just curious if many knew about them, that they had dated. Would still like to hear too from other's on this and about Sheryl doing country? Also, did you say you liked Crazy Little THing Called Love by Dwight? I thought you did, anyway I think Dwight did an excellent cover of it. And I have every CD of his except his Christmas CD. I would recommend his Last Chance For A Thousand Years:Greatist Hits of the 90's, Dwight Live, and If There Was A Way, and Gone too. HE has several great CDs. Hope you get to hear them.
