She was all over the place, jumping in the crowd, climbing up the balcony, she pulled people up on stage (like 40 people) and let some girl sing with her. At the end, she gave away her telecaster guitar to some girl who tried to play it upside down. She probably only played for like an hour 20 mins, but it was pretty fun. She seems like a fucked up gal. I was stuck next to these girls, they were nice to me and all, but they are the kind of girls u dont see at a hole concert, maybe they missed the mall or a formal dance or maybe on their mad rush to the ladies room after a meal, they accidentally found their way to the concert...in any case, some guy threw some wet stuff all over them (me too). I was laffing so hard, but they were nice, but ya still had to laff ya know? Oh anyway, Hole wasnt too bad, Courtney knows how to have fun and REALLY gets the crowd into it. I saw that the video is done by that Stephanie chick that did ABD, and does a bunch of Marylin Mason videos. The new video I think is the best she's ever done. I think it's neat to look at the director's of videos, and see what characteristics are similar in all of their videos. For example, both My Favorite Mistake and Home were directed by Samuel Bayer, who seems to like to have the people look right into the camera. He also always shows the artist half on the screen and half off. And he likes his work to look really vintage. For a more recent video of his, check out the new video by Everlast. It looks like a blend of MFM and Home, with old people sitting around and all. But it's in color. Sam Bayer's first video was Nirvana's Smells like teen spirit, which we all learned from POP UP VIDEO. I wonder if she'll continue to work with this lady for TGTN and Mississippi.
