This may be a dumb question but for the life of me, I can't seem to remember whether there were seats provided in the lawn area at the Rose Bowl's Lilith Fair! No one brought lawn chairs, you have assigned seats and the chairs are provided. Typical concert kind of stuff...the Bowl is a great venue for Lilith and the field is so awesome. Hi guys! I just had to tell you about my wonderful Sheryl experience last night! First off, I got to the show knowing that I was in the front row...I just had this feeling that it would be front row, and WAY down at one end of the stage...I ended up being CENTER stage...I was directly in front of her mike stand...HOLY SHIT! I was so close that I could have pulled her right off the stage and right on top of me! Other than the obvious visual highlights, Riverwide was so incredibly beautiful. All the strings in that song just give you that feeling..that tingly feeling in your spine whenever something is just way too beautiful for words. I'll leave it at that! Am I Getting Through was also great, actually, every single song from TGS was kickass! Sheryl actually not only made eye contact with me..but as she was talking in between songs..she pointed down at me (in my Sheryl tour shirt), and said.."Wow, now that is a GOOD choice of attire, very appropriate for this evening..thank you!" ...I just stood there like..umm..she can't be talking to me, she CAN'T be looking AT ME and talking to me in the middle of the show! I was the only one in the front row with a Sheryl shirt on, so after I got over the initial shock, I realized I was the ONLY one she could have been talking to. Also, in the middle of If It Makes You Happy, she changed the Marilyn's Shampoo line to, "Marilyn's Dildo" VERY amusing! Anyway..the show was outstanding! Sheryl ROCKS! What else must be said?? I want to let you all know..if you don't stay up late, you MUST set your VCR's to tape the Conan O'Brien show tonight! It's on right after Jay Leno, on NBC at 12:35 eastern time..not sure what time elsewhere. There is the INCREDIBLE new singer named Patty Griffin performing tonight. If you like Sheryl, You'll LOVE Patty! Trust me on this one..do NOT miss it! The show is usually not over till about 1:40am, so make sure your VCR's go at least that long. She won't be playing one of her better songs tonight (in my opinion), but you'll get the idea of what an incredibly strong and amazing voice she has. Take care everyone!
