Hello Crew!!! So, guess who is going to the taping of The View on Monday morning?? Only myself, my boyfriend, Phyllis and her sister! That's who!! YAY!!! We are going to have one full day.. 9:45 to be at the show, and then 8pm for the concert :o) Go us! Go us! whoo hoo! Okay, so I'm a little excited. Do you blame me?? They asked about 100 times to bring posters and cd's and shirts, so that probably means we get to meet her or something! Maybe to sign them?? Yay!! (Even though I hate that show.. Just came back from the show at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Did anybody else form the list make this show? It ROCKED! The band seemed really on, they were relaxed and having fun, clowning around. The audience was great. Really loud, and at no point during the show were less than half the people standing up. I only sat down once, during AIWD. The place was a nice little 3,000 seat theatre. The show had a lot of energy, and Sheryl did a lot of talking between songs. It was the first Sheryl Crow concert that I have ever seen, and it was awesome. It was the best concert I have ever been to. Semisonic did an awesome job opening for her, and they played some great songs. Then Sheryl came on and she was so good I stood up for the entire concert. I have alsways like her music, but this concert has really hooked me. I thought her and the band sounded great, just as if I were listening to a cd (well almost). I think there is just something about her voice and the way she talks and sings that just overwhelms me. I am definately going to start going to more of her concerts, guaranteed. The ultimate would be to meet her somehow, whether it was inperson or through a letter. She has definately stollen my heart with her voice. I better watch it, I might start sounding like a maniac! I heard that she is 37 years old, is that true? WOW she looks and sounds like she is in her late 20's or early 30's. It is hosted by a bunch of women, and that is basically the concept of the show. 5 different women with 5 different opinions. Personally, I can't stand the show. They are too corny, and they think that everything they say is funny, and they make references to sex and then giggle like they did something "bad". It's very childish. And they like to bombard their guests with really stupid questions.. but hey, Sheryl will be there and I will be happy. It airs Monday morning live (I believe.. maybe taped at 10 since we have to be there at 9:45) 11am, WABC, or channel 7 in NYC Metro. We'll try our best with the banner. Any suggestions?
