The site is www.cdnow.com they have almost everything by Sheryl including imported stuff and the London Live video. I already spent tons of money ordering some of the singles. After you get to the site search Sheryl Crow and up pops a listing of all her CD's, singles, and videos. Then you can click on individual ones for descriptions of what exactly is on them. Good luck! You should go to yahoo and check out their maps section they can give you milage and things like that. Xmystery's plane is probably a smaller commuter prop type. If you are on a jet, your flight will approximate 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Probably 3 to 3 1/2 for a smaller prop plane. The jets I fly go from Cleveland to NY in about an hour depending on winds. Add another hour for the rest of your trip and there you go. Sorry I can't help with the ground travel. I did not get to meet Sheryl Crow... although I think I did everything humanly possible to do so, it just wasn't meant to be. :-( However, as every big fan knows, the next best thing to meeting the Devine One... is meeting her dog, Scout! :-) This I did and he was such a sweet little guy... his big brown eyes are adorable. Okay, let me start at the beginning, we get there super early... like about 1 p.m.. The semis were parked at the unloading entrance along with two big buses. After waiting there awhile, I didn't see anyone around or anything... so, I decided to knock on the doors of the buses. So, with gift in hand, I knocked on one of the doors three times till finally one blonde chick sticks her head out the door and says, "WHAT??" In a really angry tone. I politely said, "Is Ms. Crow available... I have a gift for her." The blonde chick then says, "NO, SHE'S NOT EVEN HERE YET!!" and then proceeded to slam the door in my face. She was really pissed. I got back in my car and thought I would wait for the 3rd bus until I seen the blonde chick again... this time she went to get security. :-( Long story, short.... I had to leave. A few hours later, I went back to this entrance... and, security was definitely in place and not allowing anyone near the buses. Her bus was there at this point. Shortly after I arrived, I seen a tall dude with dark hair was walking Scout. I wasn't sure who he was however I found out later that he's the guy that tunes and hands Sheryl her guitars. I talked to him awhile and petted Scout a bit and he mentioned that Scout was rather nervous as he wasn't able to spend time with Sheryl today. He then said that she's been bombarded with interviews since it was kind of a "home town" deal and that Scout was missing her. I then asked if he would do me a favor and give a gift to Sheryl for me. He was really nice and said, "sure, I will make sure she gets it." :-) We were walking towards a radio van that was set up in front of Hearnes Center and I hear, "DEEEEEEEE!!!" I turn around and it's Angie (crowfan@webtv.net). :-) We chatted for a while and she was so excited about meeting Sheryl and the band. She showed me her program and stuff. It was fun talking to her. That pretty much raps it up for before the concert... Angie gave you guys the set list so I'll just add a few things here and there for that... In a message dated 4/27/99 12:12:13 AM Pacific Daylight Time, crowfan@webtv.net writes: > Mabe thats something > ACWDYG > LLV LLV was really good... she said it was a song about drinking. It was longer than usual and I thought it was funny when she put up her arms one at a time and acted like she was stripping. You could tell that she was in a really playful mood that night. At the end she also said, "maybe I should get married, have a bunch or babies... or maybe I should go back to school, wait on tables and get a job at Blockbuster." Then later said, "probably not." > It don't hurt This song wasn't a favorite of mine from the beginning but it's definitely a favorite of mine now. It completely rocked! The instrumental at the end was great and added a lot to the song. She also made the comment about doing crazy things when you end a relationship - like cutting your hair. > riverwide Upon hearing this song, the crowd decided to sit down... we were standing from the moment she arrived on stage till this song began. It was done beautifully... the violin was awesome. > IIMYH I especially enjoyed hearing the entire audience sing to this one. > ABD > MFM > 1&2 Loved the lights through AIGT and the ending was GREAT. She was doing the head banging thing at the end and really getting into it. > then she did a song by David Bowie...my sister n law told me the name > but i couldn't hear her it was something City. I couldn't tell you the name of it either... it was a very upbeat song and I know I've heard it before on the radio but haven't cared for the song until I heard Sheryl do it. At the end I wasn't sure if this part was in the lyrics but she said, "wham bam thank you mam." :-) > Difficult Kind Very touching and heart felt. > Winding road This was the best performance of EIAWR that I've seen. Sheryl was so into it... she was dancing and acting as if she was swimming across the stage, with her guitar hanging on her back. > AIWD This song sounded fine... it was entertaining mainly because of the projected Bill & Hillary on the big screen. She didn't seem as bored singing it as I've seen her do it in the past. > Neigborhood WOW.. really powerful, everybody was pretty much dancing at this point. > Strong enough Encore 1 > mississippi > home encore 2 The songs done at the encore were sooooooooo good. "Home" was beautiful and it was so neat seeing her at the piano. She made little remarks throughout the concert about Mizzou. At one point she said, "I haven't been back at Hearnes Center since I seen Stevie Nicks in concert when I was in school." crowfan@webtv.net writes: > In St.Louis: > She wore a > black top with either black or blue jeans. and around her neck she had a > blue thingy, like what she wore on I think it was letterman Did she wear the same thing in Columbia? It looked like she had on Levi's, black boots and a black camisole top with spaghetti string straps. The top was slit in the front right above her navel which showed her buffed tummy. :-) She had a blue scarf around her neck and her hair was kinda chopped and wispy looking. There were several times throughout the concert that she just stopped playing and started running her fingers through her hair. It was going in all different directions by the end of the show and still looked great. I have to say that the concert was the best ever. What made it the best was seeing her so happy. She looked like she was having fun... like she loved what she was doing... like she was very comfortable with the crowd and wasn't inhibited in anyway. The last time I seen Sheryl in concert was in August 1996. The concert was great then but I think she's come along way personally... which has really shined through her music recordings and especially live. She was very vibrant and energetic throughout the whole concert. The time flew by and it was a wonderful evening... despite the lack of the dream thing for me coming true. However, I did get to give the gift to a person who I believe will give it to her... and, that means a lot. :-) Dee ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 Apr 1999 15:55:05 -0400 From: "Christina Clark" Subject: SHERYL AND LILITH!!!!!
