I arrived around 3:30, but Sheryl beat me because she was soundchecking. Anyway, I was waiting by the service entrance where the buses were and the bus driver for Semisonic (who was extremely rude) told me to not waste my time trying to meet Sheryl, because she was "untouchable". Well, my friend and I gave up around 4:30 and decided to go inside and use the bathroom, find out when the doors open, etc. I had brought a gift for Sheryl and I wanted to find someone to give it to her. The woman working at the Dane County Coliseum told me to go by the service entrance and look for a large man in red. I went back to the service area and there was Sheryl Crow with Scout walking to the bus! I sprinted toward her and yelled "Sheryl! Sheryl!". I think she thought I was going to assault her or jump on her! She was getting on the bus, but she stopped. I told her hi, gave her the present and she was like "Oh, that's really sweet of you". We hugged and she signed some stuff for me. Then she was like "Scout, give her a hug. Scout makes everything better!". She asked if I was going to the show and stuff and I said I'd be in the front row. Well, multiple times during the show she looked at me and my friend and she waved bye to us as she left the stage. After her final encore, she was throwing out guitar picks and she threw one to me. It was a great show and she is one of the kindest pop stars I've met (besides Duncan Sheik). It was a great time. We also met Semisonic, Dan Wilson is so cute! I gave him an elmo doll and during the concert, he went and got it and put it on a speaker! When they finished, he didn't leave it out, he went and brought it back with him. This was definitely one of the best shows I've been to.
