I called (for about the fourth time) on Tuesday, and finally talked to a nice guy that seemed to know what he was talking about. He told me he was very well informed about everything that goes in and out of AT&T, and checked everywhere for the CD for me. He said that as far as he knows, the CD was just sent out to random people on their mailing list, and that he could NOT guarentee that I would get the CD but he signed me up for the personal network software. I then told him that I knew a few people (from the list) that had called and were told that they should expect the CD in a few weeks. He said he did not know how anyone could tell people that, and that they shouldn't because the last he heard they were out of the CD. I also asked him if he thought the CD would be released commercially to buy, and he said no, and that they will probably make more copies and use it a few more times for promotions. We talked for about a half hour, even about the artists on the CD. He even read me an article about it from the Wall Street Journal. Then he gave me suggestions about where to look (putting an ad in the newspaper) and even double checked with his manager. "No information". He apologised numerously, and wished me good luck. So for any of you that were told the CD was coming, I hope it is! I really wish they would release it commercially, I actually thought they were going to. Oh well. If any of you do have it, I would love a copy :) I can send blanks and money for postage. Or we could even set up a trade. I have numerous Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks audios and videos. Here's some others: Elvis, Smokey Robinson, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Bob Dylan, Little Richard, Roy Orbison, and Carl Perkins, just to name a few more. Heck, you could even add The Beach Boys and The Byrds to the list. What I'm talking about is artists from "A to Z" that arrived on the scene after the Beatles conquered the world, Sheryl included.
