I think it will be Mississippi, it wasnt the one i thought in my own opinion would be realeased, but i went to the sheryl site and looked at the album section and realised that they only have audio clips from the 3 already released singles AND mississippi, so I presume that what theyll be the fourth single they'll be realeasing! Does everyone think its the right choice?? I thought they should of released either Members Only, It Dont Hurt or Mississippi.... None of the others, otherwise people will give her a reputation of a whiny woman whos constantly going on about ruined relationships/friendships, which WE ALL know IS NOT true. I could see tho that releasing MFM, ABD and then something like C&B, TDK, MS or Riverwide, would make the album seem depressing to non-sheryl lovers! >> apologies for the waffle above, no college today and im on a sugar rush<< sam xxxxx ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 15:10:25 -0000 From: "The mad one" Subject: Mississipi Sam I don`t think Sheryl Will release Mississippi as you have already got a version of it on The ABD singles well they don`t normally put out live versions on singles that they are going to release. I really think it will be Member`s Only as I think They will try and get the AIWD or EIAWR of the album an I think the only single they can really put out for that is Member`s Only well that moi opinion is I am open to people to disagree :) The Mad one AKA Judith Oh Sam I recorded that thing for you but they changed the listing so the songs are different :( so what inspires you Sheryl ? well that opening shot of you in the shower was very inspiring ~Sheryl Crow~ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 13:58:39 EST From: SCrudegirl@aol.com Subject: Re: Mississipi In a message dated 99-03-24 10:15:38 EST, you write: << I don`t think Sheryl Will release Mississippi >> I dunno where how or when I heard this...but I swore that I heard that that was going to possibly be the next single...or at least A single............but I could be wrong ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 13:55:49 EST From: SCrudegirl@aol.com Subject: Re: sheryl-crew-digest V2 #51 In a message dated 99-03-24 00:05:30 EST, you write: << The Nashville show was superb! Mississippi is scheduled to be the 4th single (at least in the US, right after TGTN) to be released some time in the fall. At least that's what I heard from someone on Sheryl's road crew, and I'm sure he's got a pretty good inside scoop on things. Much of the reason for the release of singles is so artists can get those extra royalties checks, and all of the checks for that one would go to Dylan. I had heard a few people say that some music papers said it would be out as a single, but what papers said it? I think it'll be Member's Only, even though the "shake their asses" line may give it serious airplay problems, particularly in the states. The "I dropped acid" line is EDITED OUT (if you can believe it) on the US radio promo. The result is "I dropped ____ on a Saturday night". It sounds really silly, and, at least where I am, it is the only way TGTN is ever played on the radio. How silly would Members Only sound if they did the same thing? "All the rich kids shake their _____". I wouldn't have thought that the asses thing would have been a problem, but after the silly deletion of the word "acid" on the TGTN promo, nothing would surprise me at this point... Not necessarily; Alanis's Unsent has ass in it and that had no problem getting airplay. Right after TGS came out, this Women First thing on my radio station played Member's Only because they had a spotlight on Sheryl. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 21:28:49 EST From: Pixiilust@aol.com Subject: Re: Mississipi Ive read all these replies and..
