I saw Sheryl live at Wembley Arena in December 97 and again last month. Although I enjoyed last month's concert, I regard the 97 concert as the best one I've been to. My favourite Sheryl songs are "Strong Enough", "Mississippi" & "Hard To Make A Stand". Most of the music I listen to now is American as most of the popular acts in the UK (The Corrs being an exception) are manufactured and can't play instruments or truly sing live. I have a varied taste in music and my collection includes New Country, Pop, Rock, Rock & Roll, Classical, Opera & West End Musical Soundtracks. In the past few years its been recorded by diverse artists like Tina Turner and Susan Ashton (Christian singer). Well now we can add the group Big Mountain to the list. They're a reggae band who actually had a pop hit a few years ago (the name escapes me though). The song AKOP appears on their album "The Best of Big Mountain," and yes, it is the same SC tune. I heard it while CD shopping the other day, and while I was shocked at first to hear it with a reggae beat, by the end of the song it actually seemed like it was specifically written as a reggae song, weird. Something definitely worth hearing so I just wanted to pass it along.
