So I was thinking, how about setting the time between 1 and 3 pm Greenwich Mean Time - thinking about the timezones : this would mean that the American ppl (East and West coast) woulb get to chat to everyone in the mornings, the ppl in Japan, Australia would get to chat to everyone in the evening, and the ppl around Europe would get their bit in around the afternoon. Of course, the American's would take preferance with regards to a time (coz it is originally all the American's who got this list started). I dunno, it's just a suggestion - I'm not entirely sure of wot the time difference is between GM Time and West coast time... Anyways, we could all party on-line if something like this got together !! It was about a few seperate things, but i can remember one part which was really horrible and got me really upset when i woke up. I recall at one point, she interrupted him. They were talking about the state of "Rock 'n' Roll" and where it as now a days. He started the show explaining how rock music today couldn't live up to the angst and rebellion felt in the 60's and 70's, such as Led Zeppelin and the likes. He made jokes about the Backstreet Boys and N Sync as well, trying to prove his theory. He also talked for a minute about rap. Then after what Dennis is known for, his "rant", he introduced Sheryl by saying that she was a permanent fixture in his cd changer, and mentioned that she won the grammy for best rock. She came out wearing was appeared to me as being a small black hooded sweatshirt (Natilie Imbruglia comes to mind) and a skirt that looks like it was a pair of pants that was split in the middle and sewn together to make a skirt. I don't recall her wearing sneakers, I thought they were sandals. The first thing she said was how she didn't know if she could come out and talk about Rock 'n Roll after the speech Dennis gave (implying that she may be a hypocrite). But luckily she went on :o) One point that sticks out in my mind during the show, was when Sheryl said something to the effect of "I think rap is the next rock 'n roll". To which there was a dead silence from the audience LOL I was like "WHAT??" But I think she meant that *now* rap produces the angst and hatred from parents that rock and roll did in the 70's. That's not exactly how she said it though, and she also mentioned that she should be doing rap. Who knows LOL But if I ever see an album titled "DJ C and the Flock" I'm steering way clear. Ah, one more interesting note: She did confirm (in not so many words) that she did indeed date Eric Clapton. Dennis mentioned a few names and said he didn't want to bring up Eric's name, but she did saying "well i did date one of them for a while" and then they went on to name 2 members of the group Cream LOL (Which Eric was in ;o) She performed ABD with Tim in a lovely red shirt with some sort of asian inspired gold design printed on the front, to which Dennis poked fun at him saying something about how he hasn't' seen a mock turtle neck in years. He also didn't ask/mention Tim's name. To me, he didn't seem to be enjoying himself all too much. Then Dennis made a comment about how everyone in the audience bobs their heads like a pigeon at a saltine during the performance, implying that Sheryl had them under her trance :o) That's about it, I'm sure there is a bit more to the interview, but I appear to be the only one who remembers any of it LOL So offense Katie, I'm only kiddin! I thought this dream had something to do with body image. I get jealous sometimes because Sheryl is so skinny and she says she doesn't workout, she just runs once in a while. So in my dream by her saying she had to workout all day maybe it was my subconscious telling me that you can't have a sixpack without working out, it was exaggerated by saying she does it all day, but I'm sure she works out, appearance is all too important in that business.
