Can >anyone help me out? >Michelle-NYU Michelle, Go to David Ribeiro's site, it is awesome ( I personally feel it should be the official site), there are tabs to practically all Sheryl's songs, SCOM included, I play this version and it is very simple but works well! www.geocities.com/Vienna/Strasse/2710 Christina ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 23:16:56 +0100 From: Brigitte & Michael Subject: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl in Holland Well unfortunately it was an old recording of Sheryl singing Strong Enough (and her accordeon) in 1996 they showed in the dutch program "2 Meter Sessions" It was a lot of fun to watch though. First let me explain the format. They invite an artist to do a "2 Meter Session" for the program in the studio. They sing about an hour and do an interview also. It's kinda like Storytellers only there's no audience and they are in the studio so there's no special lightning, which gives it a really strange effect. This show was a compilation of previous recordings of women of rock. Beth Hart was there, Skunk Anansie and Meredith Brooks and off course Sheryl. Sheryl didn't look so happy. Something that I already noticed in the bootlegs around that time. I think she was almost crying during the end of Strong Enough. I think she looks much more stronger and happier now. I really wish I had watch this program more often cause a lot of cool artist do a session in there. Well thanks for letting me ramble on this last THanksgiving day of the millenium, and I haven't even celebrated one this century! She performed If It Makes You Happy, Dy'er Maker and Strong Enough. And if you want to see a clip of Dy'er Maker you can download it here: http://www.omroep.nl/nps/tv/2meter/96/8.html just click on the link. Don't know why the TV Guide Online didn't have it listed for Sheryl, otherwise I would have told you all about it and not missed it myself. Saw the Olds commerical with "A Change"-- cool! And at least she didn't sell the song right after it came out, like Lenny K. did with "Fly Away" and Smash Mouth with "AllStar". Has anyone out there received their promo of "Sweet Child oMine" from sending in a copy of the back of the TGS CD? I'm still waiting months. - -Larr __________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Get your FREE Internet Access and Email at http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 21:08:04 EST From: Hurcane17@aol.com Subject: [sheryl-crew] sheryl's email hi crew, i was bored earlier and noticed that the address to "Email Sheryl" on her official site has changed from sheryl@thelot.com to: sherylcrow@igamail.com i don't remember anyone mentioning it before...so i wanted to spread the news. but here is a question: How many of you think sheryl really reads that email? just a random thought... - -jess ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 20:20:22 -0800 From: Chris Ketchum Subject: [sheryl-crew] "Music Fair '98" question Sheryl appeared on a Japanese TV show last year called "Music Fair '98". She was interviewed and performed three songs with Tim Smith and three unknown (to me anyway) musicians. Does anyone know who these "Mystery Musicians" are? I've never seen them play with Sheryl anywhere before.
