I've learnt my lesson I think! Anyway, I've a couple of things to say. You can get guitar tab books for at least the first two albums cos I've seen them in shops in Belfast a few times. Of course if they're on websites then that's the best bet I suppose. Hmm, Patty Griffin, we were given a free sample CD at Kansas Lilith and it had Patty Griffin on it and the song's pretty good. Ahh yes, there's a new Bond soundtrack compilation out which has Tommorrow Never Dies on it which imo is a gem of a song. It doesn't have Goldeneye i think which I thought it would but that's so much the better. It may only be in the UK but I sort of doubt it. keep an eye out for it as the other tracks are pretty good too. "Nobody Does It Better" is one of my personal faves but the others are great. About Maxim, I have the mag but no website or scanner or anything so I'm no help there. I know that I had more things to say but I don't remember what. Oh well, that'll teach me to not pay attention. I might think of some more things and I'll send them if I do, but until t! hen... Louis P.S. Since he was on the list , I figured this was the best way of finding out where he is and how to get his cds to him :-) Also, Rolling Stone has a fairly new book out called "Raves" which features Sheryl's comments about her memories of summer and even a hand drawn self portrait that's kinda funny . Well, I happened to go to Sheryl's official site and to read the messages in the forum -thing I hadn't done for centuries. All those messages really stroke me -all of them are written by people from the list... They didn't strike me in a negative but in a sad way. I mean everyone out there says Sheryl's site is dull and that Sheryl and te record company or whatever, is not enough involved in that site so that no one actually understand why it's been nominated on MTV video awards... Anyway, the point of almost everyone on the forum is that we all lack some new stuff we could lean on. A new Unplugged, or a video release or a live compilation or whatever which could makes us happy until her next album -due around september 2000- What do you all guys think about it??? Cause I although think that list has been kind of boring, or everybody went out of the subject, because there's not that much to talk about at the moment.... I remember how vivid the list was when TGS was released... But, that's the way it is, I mean Sheryl works real hard and I don't expect her to release an LP every two months or so... Well, on December 7, there is a CD of the Central Park concert coming out, and on January 4, there is a concert video from last February coming out. There's a lot of stuff going on, but a new studio LP always generates a lot of discussion , and an infux of new fans. The stuff that is going on now is really just to tide us established fans over until the next studio LP. And September 2000 is only 10 months away. Regards, F. Jason Rhoden is right - the video that's coming out, and the Central Park CD are good things. Old things, but good things. I don't expect Sheryl to come out with a new CD every two months - and I am patient to wait until the September 2000 release of the next CD and even longer if she's not happy with it. I wanted more of her involvement on her web site - that's was prompted the message. I just don't think it would be impossible to put some new tour diary messages up; she only wrote ONE on the last go around. And even if she dictated a message to the fans to a label secretary or her manager, how hard would that be? I just think the fan forum is major league stale. I was not being negative, like Anne Etienne said - and I also think it's sad. The Sheryl Crew is the only place that's not stale. My two cents.
