I cannot tell you how many times I've seen pics of them in magazines and was not sure which of them it was. Like Larry, I missed Conan 'cuz of the baseball game running long. It really would have been cool to see them both in the same room at the same time!! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Oct 1999 10:06:49 -0300 From: "Ricardo Martin Cabrera" Subject: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl Is The Best !!! There are no Sheryl songs on the ballot, but there are some neat selections and a place for write-ins. It's funny because it's not one of my faves on TGS but when she plays it live I love hearing it. The first time I saw her playing her harmonica and guitar at the same time, I was truly amazed. Sheryl is one very talented lady that's for sure :) I also regretted not taping it, hopefully they will repeat it some time soon. Too bad it wasn't a whole hour it would have been awesome. On another note, when is the video/cd of Sheryl's Globe Sessions tour from Auburn Hills supposed to come out? I thought it was supposed to be around September..Oh well I guess we'll just have to wait a little while longer. - --------------------------------------- We've got loud guitars and quiet suspicions, great big guns and small ambitions, and we still argue over who is God............. - -Sheryl Crow, Hard to Make a Stand Sheryl Crow: IMYH ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Oct 1999 20:46:14 +0200 From: KurtKleiner@t-online.de (Kurt Kleiner) Subject: [sheryl-crew] Re: Sessions at West 54th, Netaid... You lucky guys in the USA get Sheryl on TV almost every week, and we in Europe - get nothing at all! I could not even find anything from Netaid on TV here... I really envy you :-) Is there anyone who has 2 stereo VCRs and could make me copies of these TV appearances of her? I would appreciate it very much. Buy or trade. (NTSC format is no problem!) BTW, I'm also looking for some videos of older TV performances in stereo, like Austin City Limits, the old West 54th Sessions, etc. If you have something, let me know. Thanks! I just wanted to ask other Crew members who watched the Net Aid webcast if they found it really funny that Sheryl didn't do an interview afterwards because her shirt was too see-through, I think it was just an excuse (I'm sure she would have had no problem finding another shirst)? Sam and I were laughing, I found it really funny. The interviewer said, "well you could definately tell if it was cold out" or something along those lines, I couldn't help but giggle. Does Sheryl not notice these things when she first puts the shirt on? lol Christina ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V2 #348 *********************************
